That's as good as it gets. I walked in on a Saturday morning and was immediately seated. The salon girls would say "I see you had a #6 cut the last time you were here". What does that actually even mean? I also started noticing that from time to time I left the salon with a cowlick. This never ever happened with a cut from Wayne. After too many poor cuts from salons, now I only go to Wayne. He greets me by my name when I enter, and during the course of the cut we talk about happenings around town, people we know in common, a bit of local politics, sometimes the weather, etc. It's a lot like the experience in the barber shops in town from when I grew up here.
