How hasn't this place ever been reviewed? I came here after Illinois went into phase 3. This place is outstanding! It's kind of a hard place to find in a small strip mall. The theme of this place is basically a lounge and biker hangout. There isn't any biker affiliated people here at all or even cutting your hair all. Best of all its got a pool table I played at for a bit to kill time. After waiting, I was greeted to Juliano, the guy had a great personality and did a phenomenal job on the haircut. They go the extra mile, they even did my eyebrows! Prices are average, they're not dirt cheap either but the quality stands out. If you're trying to wait as well, there's a liquor store next door I suppose. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and son were SO happy about my sons haircut and the employees and shop owner. I left for errands and when I came home it took me several moments to realize it was my son. As he stood in the interior garage door. He's been walking around talking with pure excitement. We have tried numerous hair stylist/shop. This has to be the biggest joke of a clown show I have ever wasted time attempting to do business with. I called at 6pm and asked if they could sneak me in before they close at 7, (For a 10 min beard trim, no haircut and my beard is well groomed) I was 5 minutes away. I can understand that they are booked and would have set up an appointment no problem the following day (if anyone was available). I work long hours everyday of the week and completely understand if they couldn't make it happen. Instead I get a clown on the phone, of which I can only reasonably assume is the owner, who responds with, You got a hundred? I responded with for a beard trim? What followed was a joke, he threatened to "slap me up side the head", I called him a bum and to go pleasure himself I will take my business elsewhere. He proceeded to call me over 10 times threatening all kinds of nonsense, screaming about his moms supposed 500,000$ house. After I ignored him he started texting me even more nonsense. Needless to say I blocked the number and decided to give them a review. Don't give these idiots the time of day, I pass by the shop every day and it looks like a dump, go elsewhere. You probably are better spending 30$ on cheap Walmart clippers and doing it yourself high as a kite. read more

Best barbers lounge around town Both my boys got their 1st haircut here. Beto is the boss and he holds the shop and himself to a high standard. Can't say how awful the customer service at Barber Lounge is. I called today to ask if they required appt. They said it was walk-in and closing time was 6pm. I walked into Barber lounge at 4:20 and just one step in the barber said he wasn't taking anyone else. There was only one guy in the chair. I asked again what time the closed was told he just couldn't take anyone else. I again asked about appointments and he said they don't take them.
