When our rental guests did have problems they were helped over the phone or a tech was sent out in a timely manner. Anytime I needed help or had questions about different services, it was easy to get Jennifer on the phone to answer my questions. What a breath of fresh air it is to have someone answer the phone right away without a long wait When I had a streaming issue with my old televisions not being smart tvs, they were able to find someone who went out and purchased the correct tvs and installed them as well.i wasn't able to get down to the obx to do it myself. What a relief to know that my rental property was going to be ready for my guests when they arrived! It's bittersweet that I just sold my rental property this month. Now they're trying to push some "plus" upgrade for another $5.99 per month and making the current service basically unusable. I can look at my inbox ONCE, reply to ONE message if I'm lucky before the screen freezes and I have to log in again, which takes forever if it works at all. Changed browsers, same thing. Today I tried to respond to an email, pasted the "to" address in the Compose box, and the address disappeared when I hit Send. Then it helpfully alerted me that there was no recipient specified, but again deleted the address after I typed it in manually. I had to shut down the computer and go to my phone just to complete this one short piece of correspondence. You'd think they would be embarrassed enough by this dismal performance to at least provide some support. But there's no longer anyone you can talk to by phone, and the chat is only open during business hours. After reading the other reviews here, I've concluded there's no hope of improvement so I'm out.

First I would like to say that this is my first yelp review eve, I have never felt as strongly as…read morethis dang wifi-- and I used to love our fios internet to the point of where I would recommend it to everyone. HOWEVER. My husband and I recently moved and were told that our old router was "no longer compatible" which was false per research after the fact because it is still infact usable. Not only did the installation guy upsell us to a shittier router that functions off of 5G cell network (the gigabit plan which is terrible because it can get bogged down with any network crowding in the area and is also their lowest speed plan) but he also up sold us to a new router we didn't need and an extender which we also didn't need for our RESIDENTIAL house!! Of course we were in the middle of moving -- quite literally still had the movers putting boxes in our new house; so he took advantage of us. Our old plan and old router worked like a champ with no issues only needing a quick reset like maybe once a year. Now however we have had the new network plan and router with nothing but lagging issues, device incompatibility (yeah. Thanks consumer America) requiring jailbreaks or buying new products, and a friggin price increase by almost $35! Absolutely absurd! I would not trust a THING any of their service people tell you. Do your research online with your current router or if you want to buy after market for cheaper before hand. 0/10 we will be switching providers ASAP.
