I know the address sounds like it is a magical made up place. Anyways I got there around 5pm and met Bill, He had me go though exercises to measure my strength, flexibility and endurance. Bill went over my results comparing me to where average was for my age, asked me if I was interested, I said yes and put his hand out towards mine we shook on it, I setup two 30 minute sessions a week. I have experienced lower back issues since I was in high school. I have tried Yoga and exercise in the past, but I would eventually experience too much pain to continue and make it a regular practice. This is why I choose to involve a professional to help me make an attempt to fix my back with exercise. I really didn't expect to see positive side effects so quickly. But within a few weeks, I started to notice I wasn't hurting. Then after a few months I started to notice my muscles are getting toned. Now that I'm 18 or so weeks into this process my life has changed so much for the better. I noticed this morning with snow shoveling I just blasted though the drive way and it was easier than I ever remembered. So happy to see the community come together in this space. Events here are usually in the evenings or on weekends. Everything from crafting classes to book clubs to divorce support groups. I love the badass ladies dinners and tea events. It's about making those bucket-list things happen. Never tried boxing, ridden a Segway or been to _____? This club will make it happen, and you can do it with your girlfriends in tow. For the work-from-home crowd they offer drop-in coworking every other Friday. Bring your laptop and use the WiFi. Classes can cost from $20-40+ and after taking several, I can say they are definitely worth it. The SheHive is new, and changing rapidly based on demand for classes. Can't wait to see what is coming next.

The workshop leader was informative and friendly. Just enough information for a novice to begin their journey into podcasting. Would like to take a more technical workshop next that focuses on tools and actual technical aspects of podcasting. Hope they add something like that in the future. The course list they offer looks interesting and I can see myself coming back for more.

God forbid you have Multiple Sclerosis, which causes urinary urgency for my husband, and you have to make one extra stop on the way to your appointment than you had already planned for... and than have to use the restroom one last time on the first floor before going up to the second floor with your walker causing you to arrive for your appointment late to see your neurologist for this exact condition. They showed no compassion for everything it took you to trek across town in dreary rainy conditions with all of our health challenges and simply have no problem telling us you have arrived late you will need to make another appointment we cannot see you today. I explained our situation to them and they did not have any empathy for our challenges. All we got from the neurologist (doctor) , medical assistant and the front desk attendant were sorry that's our policy. As many times as we patiently sat waiting beyond our appointment time to be called back to be seen by this same medical staff we never once saw a sign warning us of this policy. I am disgusted by these apparent health care professionals.
