William at Pro Cut Tree came recommended from various neighbors, so I contacted him about a fairly large tree/shrub removal project around a single family home. Before the job, he came out to walk the property and do a consultation. William walked me through the pros and cons of removing various trees without pressuring me in any direction, and he made sure to give credence to any sentimental value that certain trees might hold for my family. Ultimately, I had two shrub beds cleared, about four very large trees removed, about six medium trees removed, and minor elevation (removal of low branches) done on a couple of trees. His team was able to complete the project promptly in about a day without dragging on because Pro Cut has top of the line, heavy duty machinery at its disposal. I particularly appreciated Pro Cut's fast response when a tree came down in a storm just before the project was about to start, and William took care of that rapidly too. Great customer service. We had a very nice initial meeting together after we needed some emergency tree work done. He appeared personable, but wasn't able to get right to it, which was a bit of a problem. That said, we were happy to make some concessions to work with him since he talked a very good game and appeared to be doing the same in return. He gave some long shpiel about professionalism, treating people right, yada, yada... and, despite his promises, that was the last time we ever saw or heard from him. Ensley requested texts (the only way to reach this "business"??) that he never replies to (not a single reply at any point in time--ever). He never answers his phone, never responded to emails, and never responded to messages sent through that lousy website contact form. I spoke with him twice--once when he returned my initial voicemail, which he obviously screened, and again when he showed up to secure the job. However, Ensley took the job and scheduled with us, had us wait when it was an emergency, and then caused further delays by refusing to notify us of anything whatsoever after apparently deciding to stiff us. We ended up finding a truly professional company that did a fantastic job without headaches. Since then, we've used the other company on a number of big jobs on various properties, and our only wish was that we had their name before calling this jester.
