The tree was not easily accessible way off the road so no mechanical lift could be used. The job they did was amazing. Wonderful and safe workmanship. I watched and posted my video of it on YouTube. They managed to take down this monster tree a piece at a time without getting on or damaging the neighbor's property or mine. And the price was only $1,200, that was $1,800 less than the larger local company Sussex Tree, an amazingly good deal! They came within a couple days of my first call, on time, to price the job, then came back a few days later to accomplish the work. They had a crew of three, a big chipper, a big truck, and a small truck and did the work in about two hours. I asked them to leave me some cut up branches as firewood and they did that for me. The crew was courteous and professional. I would not only recommend them highly to friends, but plan to use them now for another big tree to come down.

Shortcutz is a short-cut to bad service and a horrendous experience…read more Avoid Shortcutz Landscaping at All Costs - Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unaccountable Our HOA hired Shortcutz Landscaping, and the experience has been nothing short of a disaster. Despite repeated reports of turf damage caused by their equipment--including deep ruts and extensive lawn deterioration--Shortcutz failed to take responsibility or provide timely, professional repairs. Instead of communicating or proposing a real solution, they showed up unannounced and dumped dirt and grass seed into the damaged areas, leaving our community looking worse than before. Not only was this a substandard "fix," but they never asked for permission or provided a plan. It will take weeks for any grass to grow in--if it does at all--and the current state of the property is unacceptable for any professional landscaping company. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and complete disregard for industry best practices have left our Board with zero confidence in their ability to service any property--residential or commercial. Shortcutz may try to shift blame to weather or the client, but the pattern is clear: they underperform, deflect, and leave you cleaning up the mess. Do yourself a favor--look elsewhere. There are far more professional, responsive, and competent vendors available.
