Avoid this place at all cost, they forgot to tighten my rear left lug nuts down after oil change/tire rotation. My tire ended up going down Mira Mar Rd and hitting another vehicle. Luckily no one got hurt. Almost a month pass till I got my car back from all the repairs, I gave this place a call back to see if they were willing to sell tires for a lower cost, the manager was quite rude and was pretty much trying to sweep what happened under the rug. I got a Groupon for a Conventional Oil change for this place for $18.00 - which was a steal. They normally charge ~$30.00 for a oils change. I made an appointment for 8 AM on a Saturday, their earliest time, but there was already a line when I got there. The man at the counter was super helpful and he asked for my key to check how many miles I had on my car (and didn't judge me for going over 2000 miles over the recommended oil change date). And I asked him to check my alignment and the under carriage of my car because I had went off leading accidentally the weekend before and he said they would do it for free. My only complaint was that he gave us an estimate of an hour and a half - which I was not expecting at all. But, they had Netflix on their TV in the waiting room so it wasn't too bad at all. The have a nice waiting room with a coupe cushy chairs, a water dispenser and a customer bathroom. The oils change only ended up taking an hour and my car was good to go! They said my car was fine and to not go off roading in the future - I really recommend this place! Just go in really if you plan on taking your car in on a weekend! read more

I went here today for a tire alignment and oil change (Groupon) and dealt with some of the least professional mechanics I've seen in a while. From the start, just getting a time was already tedious. Asked if I could book an appointment, told no but that I could just walk-in. Once I got there, I was told it was going to be a 1.5 hour wait. That wouldn't be such a big deal honestly if they simply just did the work well. Alas, they did not, which is why I'm writing about it now. The groupon was for a full synthetic oil change and although the price was quite competitive, I wasn't sure if they actually did the work. When I got the car back, the maintenance light was still on. Which is funny because they claim to have done an "inspection." Maybe they were just admiring my car, but I would've appreciated if they finished the job. Like another reviewer mentioned, the lack of attention to detail seems to be a recurring theme. Not only did they miss the maintenance light, but managed to get oil stains on both overhead visors, and did not include the customary sticker that lets you know when to return (which admittedly is unnecessary, but nice to have). As for the alignment, there was not much to say. I paid $90 for them to have a machine diagnose the issues and I presume it was aligned properly. Numerous metrics on the report were out of acceptable ranges but they never explained to me why or how to fix it. Instead, I had to read up on it myself to see what's wrong and have come to the conclusion that an alignment probably isnt what my car needed. (The guy upfront had advised both an alignment and tire balancing). After the alignment, my car still veers to the right as if it wasn't aligned at all. The SAI before and after is outside of acceptable ranges and could possibly be the result of other problems with the car. Past mechanics I've worked with would not hesitate to tell me what's wrong and how to fix it. Instead, these folks just give me an impatient and gruff "do you have any questions? No? I hate it when the batmobile needs some adjustments, and I hate it even more when I'm on a long road trip!!! Fortunately for me I found this place and an awesome crew headed up by Angel. The team here was swamped but they recognized that I was just passing through town and couldn't drop off the car and come back for it later so they did everything they could to get me back on the road in record time and with more than reasonable prices. OH MY GOODNESS. Everyone working today deserves a round of applause. I walked in with a Groupon for an oil change. Me, not knowing ANYTHING about cars, had no idea that it would only take one hard break for my tires to explode. Everyone working today basically saved me from an accident by taking the time out of their day to show me EXACTLY what was wrong. I told them I was on a time limit. I gave them 25 minutes to do an oil change, put on 2 new tires, and do an alignment because I had to go for work. I was in my car at the 25 minute mark. I'm extremely impressed! I really wish I read the reviews about this place before anything. If you can afford to take a day off from work for an oil change, then Performance Tire/Integrity Tire is the one for you! Last week (Tuesday) I purchased their Groupon deal (full synthetic oil change & tire rotation), and it said an appointment is required. Cool, no big deal. So I called them up, at around 3pm, mentioned the Groupon and asked if they had any openings for that day. They said they did not have any openings, BUT ALSO SAID that I can come in anyway and they'll take my car in. Perfect! I get ready and make my way over there. Got there at around 3:30pm and told them that I spoke with one of their employees about taking my car in without an appointment. The guy at the desk goes on his computer, looks through his binder and tells me that they can't today because there was a bunch of cars ahead of me. (I'm really understanding, but also hate having my time wasted, so I get that things happen. No big deal!). He apologized and said that I can book an appointment with him for the following week at 3pm. So I did. Booked and confirmed. Which brings us to today. Ended up being ahead of my schedule for the day, so I decided to give them a call. I mention my appointment, and asked if they had any earlier openings. I get the same answer. No openings, but I can come in anyway, except it'll just take awhile. I declined and stuck with my 3pm appointment. I get to Performance Tire approximately 10 minutes early before my scheduled appointment (3pm), and the guy at the front desk (a different one from last week) checks me in and does his thing. After he was done, he then tells me that my car would not be done until closing time (6pm). WHAT! I have to wait 3 hours??!! Appalled and confused I asked 'Why?'. He vaguely explained, "There's a couple of cars in the garage that aren't moving." Then I said, "Even with an appointment, it's gonna take that long? I scheduled it last week." He exclaimed, "Yup! But if you want to leave, we can give you a call when it's ready." ... SMH. Yeah, I get there's unforeseen circumstances, but seriously??!! I was not prepared for a 3 hour wait and booked this appointment for a reason. What I don't get is, what kind of business does not honor appointments? Do they not respect their customers' time? Like everyone else, I have things to do and places to be. I figured at this point, if I rescheduled my appointment or come back another time, I'd have to wait another 3 hours maybe longer. Luckily, I live relatively close and decided to take an Uber back home. About an hour and half later, I receive a call from one of their employees informing me that they JUST started on my car and telling me that I should change my brakes with them. I politely declined and told them I have a family mechanic for that. For some reason, this guy was too pushy and not taking no for an answer. Then about an hour or so later, I get another call from them asking, "Hi Miss, it's about 45 minutes to closing. Are you looking to pick up your car today or do you wanna leave it over night?" What in the world?! EXTREMELY ANNOYED at this point, I responded, "Wait what?! You guys said you would call me when it's ready to be picked up. How long has it been ready for?!" His response, "Well yeah that's why I'm calling." Then I told him I'm on my way. If I could, I'd give the communication, customer service, and reliability of this place -5 stars. Came in today for a groupon oil change near closing time. Was expecting angry employee, boy was i wrong. Josh working at the front was honest and customer oriented. He brought me to the back during the inspection and showed me where he recommended work to be done and because my car was old told me which repair would be costy (what place do you know would do that for their customer). I did not feel he was upselling me at any point. I only got the oil change today but if i needed any other work i would come back. I would highly recommend everyone come give them a try. Not only did they not rotate my tires (which was part of the Groupon I bought), but the maintenance light that lights up on my dashboard when an oil change is needed is still on. For starters, I'm under the impression that their business is named Performance Tire. Get your oil change somewhere else if you want to keep your car safe. They put a little slash in my tire. I know they did because I never take my car out. The slash was a brand new cut just to get some tire business. Plus, it's ridiculously hard for anyone to have that kind of a slash in their tires by driving around and for me not to take notice is really amazing. They really take me for a fool if they expect me to believe that it was done by driving and not by a person with a damn utility blade. This place has no integrity. If the deal is too good to be true, it is. You will not only be ripped off of the promised service, you will get damaged goods as a result. Please practice honestly if you want more business. Had a great experience at this place using a Groupon oil change+tire rotation deal. The location is not ideal, small, and can be difficult to find. The drop-off experience was straightforward. Picking up was a breeze as well, and my car seems fine. I docked off 1 star for a couple of minor issues. First, I was told that I will be called/messaged once my car is ready for pickup but that never happened. Secondly, upon picking up my car, the car was not locked and the hand brake was down even though it is in Parking mode. I wish they had been more careful and professional, which I would otherwise give 5 stars for this place. Nevertheless, my oil is changed and tires rotated for a great deal. read more

We came all the way from La Mesa in search of an honest, affordable, and professional oil change. We found it! Service was efficient and thorough. They even found a nail in our tire and repaired it, saving us from possible damage later. Service guys were nice and professional. They didn't try to oversell, which was refreshing. We will likely purchase our next set of tires from them too. Btw, they also take appointments. Tip: Bring a book and a cup of coffee for the wait since there is no place nearby to pass the time. They don't do appointments but do have an unannounced lunch hour. I dropped off my car at 12:30ish and was told it would be two hours. So I got a ride home instead of waiting in the waiting room during covid and literally never got a call that my car was done. After three hours I called in and they said my car was ready, I picked it up and went on my way. One week later my drip pan was scraping against the road because they had either improperly installed the clips or not told me that I needed new ones. Benefit of the doubt is that maybe they were old and frail or maybe previous technicians hadn't put them back so I only had a few left. I had zero clips on my grease pan after driving my car maybe 30 miles which was very frustrating, unsafe, and preventable. I'll just pay for closer, quicker, and better service next time instead of cheaping out on a Groupon. read more

I wanted to give a shoutout to Anthony and Jorge. Anthony was the front desk guy, and from the start he was extremely helpful to ensure that I understood everything that was going on my car. He brought me in the car garage and pointed out some of the problems in my tires. I have never had a mechanic do this before so I thought it was very helpful. To be honest I don't know very much about cars so I just had to trust Anthony that what he was telling me was correct and accurate. Jorge was one of the mechanics here and he also explained some of the alignment issues in-depth that I had been having with my car. I thought the prices that they gave were very reasonable, about $50 for alignment and 40$ for tire balancing. Been driving the car, so far everything is working great! Thanks guys! read more

*HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND ATTEMPTED CONSUMER RIP-OFF* Unfortunately Performance Tire is under new ownership and the new management and technicians not only performed a shoddy alignment, but appear to have intentionally tweaked the ride height adjustments on my BMW. This caused cupping damage to the two front tires ($500+ replacement cost). After taking the car back twice to have the issue checked, the manager: Brandis told me the problem was that the springs on the right side of the vehicle had failed, which they could replace for approximately $900. At this point, I thought it best to have my BMW dealer check the alignment and "failed springs" as reported by Brandis at Performance Tire. BMW found that Performance Tire had not only improperly adjusted the ride height, but also left the camber adjustments on all 4 wheels only finger-tight. BMW re-aligned the car which immediately corrected the problems, except for the damaged front tires. After contacting Performance Tire customer service (Dan Schoof), and providing extensive documentation to support my request for a reimbursement of the alignment fee and damaged tires, I was offered only a refund of the alignment fee in exchange for signing a "release". Of course there was no acknowledgment of the "spring replacement scam". I chose to decline the refund in order to retain my freedom of speech to notify other consumers that Performance Tire MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST! read more

I waited for over 3 hours, I didn't think it was going to take that long. One of the employees was pushy about some other things that my car needed. He insisted so much he suggested I called my husband. I did. We decided to take the car elsewhere for that specific service. Of course saying no always ends up being uncomfortable for everyone; and that's what happened. I do appreciate the fact that he showed me what was wrong instead of just telling me. I would have given them a higher review had it not been for this incident. I think that once someone says no the second or third time, they should just accept the answer graciously. Ive been twice now and will never go back. First time they were supposed to do a wheel alingment, they told me it was a waist of time since my tires were almost worn out. Came out of the shop and they said the alignment was fine... I know it wasnt, had to take it elsewhere to get it fixed. I don't normally write reviews, but my recent experience with performance tire compelled me to do so. I went to Performance tire for my oil change/ tire rotation. I was initially happy with the service but then i noticed that they didn't reset my tire pressure indicator light on my dash. Then my car's undercarriage cover fell off. It was then i realized it was missing 8 screws. The undercarriage cover was dragging for miles before i realized one side came off. They didnt fastened the cover securely. My advice is to inspect your car before you leave the place. read more

Worst service ever. After 2 oil changes with them my car all of the sudden had no oil at all. My mechanic's inspection determined that they never closed the oil plug tight and all my oil leaked into my engine cover. The oil was super black, meaning Integrity Tire prob. never even did an oil change at all. The damage and repair for my car was close to 1000$. Integrity did not apologize or accept their fault and only offered a patched up repair from their mechanic. Be careful, they might not do a the right job on your car. read more

Called them and they said the website is broken and just to stop by anytime. What seemed to have started off as a good thing turned into a customer service nightmare. DON'T GO HERE. I got a Groupon deal for a tire rotation and synthetic oil change, drove all the way from Del Mar to where these dirtbags are, expecting to have a normal and pleasant experience (I'm a paying customer, what else am I suppose to expect when I walk into a business responsible for servicing my car?) I walked in today, 7/21/2018 at around 2:30 and immediately started getting verbally harassed by the guy at the counter. I tried to say I wanted the oil change and tire rotation I paid for on Groupon, but to no avail. He began firing off inappropriate questions and said he was happy to be getting off of work in few minutes. By this point, I was getting upset. The guy then had the audacity to ask me why I was giving him a "dirty look." A lot of awkward silence during this time as well. I asked to speak with someone else but he quickly said he was the only one working there. BS, there were others there in the back that I'm sure could have helped me. I walked out as he yelled out after me. THIS GUY LITERALLY HECKLED ME AS I WALKED OUT. This guy was obviously trying to get me to leave so he could get off of work.
