I was a little nervous finding a new dentist since moving to the area two years ago and I am so thankful I ended up here. From the first phone call with the receptionist, to seeing the hygienist and the doctor, to the final checkout the whole experience was AMAZING. The staff has an uncanny way of developing rapport that I have not encountered at any medical/dental office in the past. They made me feel like the most important patient being seen that day and this was only my first visit! I know I had a little catch-up work to be done in my mouth however the staff and doctor presented the treatment in a thorough, constructive, and reassuring way. The dentist showed me my xrays and photos to better help me understand what needed to be done and how to prevent other issues from reoccurring. It was refreshing to have a doctor sit with me and take time to explain in layman's terms what they were seeing and the reasoning behind the recommendations. My teeth look great, but unfortunately years later I've discovered my braces were recommended/installed too early. My molars hadn't come in yet, and now are on a completely different plane than the rest of my teeth. Not that this is entirely their fault, but I can't help but wonder if they talked my parents into 4+ years of braces a bit too early. My brother had similar services from Dr. Cryder and was recently informed (again by another dentist) that his lower bar was installed UPSIDE DOWN. And has been for years and years. Like I said, we both have good teeth, but I would be a bit more careful than we were and not go in taking their word as the "right" thing for our mouths. :)

Asked him for a script for the nausea/vomiting... he refused. His treatment plan? "Lay down & sleep it off." (LITERALLY his words.) This doctor did not care at all about my discomfort or individual needs as a patient. Rude, discourteous, & insensitive bedside manner. Pompous & impersonal attitude too. Doctors like this that use a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter approach are a huge red flag to me, as all patients deserve an individualized treatment plan. Additionally, if a doctor isn't there for you for the simple routine things like post-op symptoms of pain & nausea/vomiting... they won't be there for you when a serious unexpected complication arises. He lost my trust & confidence in both the "caring & compassion" department, and the "lack of individualized patient care" department. If you want to be invalidated, discredited, disrespected, gaslit, and treated like garbage regarding your post-op needs... this guy is definitely your man.
