While on vacation recently, we had concerns about our ABS system, A/C, and oil levels, so brought it in to be looked at. To our relief, the diagnosis was that the ABS error was a false positive, and the oil just needed to be topped off. We were advised against repairing the A/C system due to the cost and age of the car, but the mechanic kindly offered to show us how to recharge the system periodically ourselves, which was a very kind gesture. Furthermore, he didn't even charge us for the diagnostic time, which we were not expecting. We originally were nervous about visiting a new mechanic while traveling, but we are very glad we did, and would be happy to recommend this shop to others.

Called several people, one quoted $1350, when I called H&H Automotive, I think the quote was something close to $900. I went with AAA towing my car from Yucca to his shop, I was going to take a Uber to a restaurant to wait for my friend to give me a ride home after he got off from work. The owner Javiar offered to gave me a ride because he saw I went there with a tow truck. It was 5 miles away! Honestly, I wouldn't want to give someone a ride that far. I got a call the next day letting me know the car was ready for pick up. Ended up he only needed to change one part, instead of 2 part, so I actually only paid like $450!! If I went with the automotive in 29 Palms, I would have spent $1200 more!! The deal is since Yucca Valley and 29 Palms are so isolated from the outside world (50 miles to Palm Springs), there are only one bodyshop and like 2 automtive repair shop, so people don't really have a choice living there. I am thoroughly impressed by the GREAT JOB Javiar did, the GREAT PRICE, and the kindness of Javiar to give me a ride like 10 minutes away and tried to find the restaurant for me too (I got the info from Yelp, so I wasn't really sure how to get there) A HIDDEN GEM!!! SO highly recommend!!!
