First of all, the good news: We replaced the old gutters and downspouts on our home, plus added additional guttering. They did a great job, and everything looks good.
Now the bad news: Post installation customer service absolutely sucked. We also added a "french drain" to one of the downspouts. This runs the rainwater outflow from that downspout, underground to a different spot in the yard. The drainage hose exit was supposed to be flush with the surface of the yard and "bubble" up when it rains. The exit wasn't even remotely flush, but was just a cut off 4" diameter hose on the surface of the yard. It was in the back of the yard and not easily visible from the house, so no major issue. I let that drop. The hose run immediately out of that same downspout wasn't buried deep enough, and was potentially exposed to damage from a lawn mower. That was finally fixed. The connection from the downspout (french drain) to the first part of the drainage hose was a "kludge" of cut up and wedged together pieces, and there was approximately a 1/2" opening where one piece was jammed into the hose to try to make it fit. So any time it rained, dirt and gravel could wash into the drainage hose and over time clog it. When he came to bury the drain line deeper (mentioned above), my wife pointed out the problem, but he failed to fix it (no explanation). This all happened over the span of a month. I yet again ask for it to be repaired, but never got an answer. I finally bought the parts and repaired it myself, after waiting yet another week for a reply to my text.
*From my experience*, if all you want is gutters and downspouts, they'll probably do a good job. If you need additional work, and if customer service is important to you, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. read more
