    27 May 2026 I purchased a Camry 2026 XLE a couple weeks…read moreago. However, I decided to purchase the vehicle a couple months ago but my particular car was not available in the area. If it had not been for Mr. Otiz it would not have happened. My first gentleman I spoke with was Mr. Jose Otero, the general manger of the sales department. Over the next several weeks he looked for the vehicle in the Houston regional office where initial factory distribution arrives. He found a car in another city and had Israel pick it up the day I came in and had it processed it and available the next day. During the process Israel Salvador, a senior salesman, helped finalize the purchase, and since he has been my go to man working with Mr. Otero. Also Israel has spent time explaining the operation of the new features of the car and installing a couple promised add ons. I want to reiterate how Jose much went out of his way to find my vehicle and then give me both a fair trade in for my 2020 Camry and a good price that was acceptable to me. If you want a car at Universal, seek out Israel and if necessary will work with Jose to make it happen. The final and usually most painful part of buying a car is finishing the sale in the back office. Jose de la Cruz completed the paperwork with ease. A true professional in his job.

He never followed up, I arrived at 7:24pm and had to search for him by calling the store and sadly Michael was doing amazing talking to us. James stated they didn't even have a comparable car to the one he called about getting an estimate. He said they sold it at 2pm. Mind you he called at 6. So he takes the car for the estimate and it's 29 basic car fax stuff. He wasted my time, my husbands time, it was such a bad experience that I had to call the store to be removed from their call list. I went inside to search for someone to be removed from their list and it makes me question this entire dealership. 2 stars because Michael made this experience somewhat beneficial.

Unfortunately, because of one sales manager, this will be the last vehicle my family ever attempts to purchase from this dealership. We visited the dealership on Monday, and our salesperson was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, took us on a test drive, showed us multiple vehicles, and followed up exactly as she said she would. She deserves five stars. Unfortunately, everything changed the moment the sales manager became involved. We had been negotiating on two vehicles. When I found out one had over 2,000 miles on it, I decided to purchase the other one. Suddenly we were told it had already been sold. When I questioned how that was possible while we were actively negotiating on that exact vehicle, the story immediately changed. Minutes later they called back saying it actually wasn't sold after all and that I could buy it if I got there before closing. At that point, my trust in anything they were saying was already gone. The worst part of this experience, however, was the sales manager. I have never been spoken to by a business professional the way this man spoke to us. From the second he got on the phone, he was arrogant, disrespectful, and completely unwilling to listen. Every time we tried to explain something or answer one of his questions, he talked over us, interrupted us, and raised his voice. He wasn't having a conversation--he was talking at us. It didn't matter what we said because he had already decided he wasn't going to listen. From the very beginning, we explained that we finance through our bank in Wisconsin. We purchase multiple vehicles every year, and we understand exactly how the financing process works. Instead of respecting that decision, he repeatedly argued with us, insisting we needed to finance through them. He even told us we couldn't buy the vehicle unless we financed in Texas, despite the fact that my current Cadillac was purchased in Texas and financed through our Wisconsin bank without any issue. He repeatedly made comments implying we couldn't afford the vehicle or didn't have enough money to put down. Those comments were insulting, unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. Several times during the conversation he arrogantly stated, "We sell three cars a day. We don't care if you buy one or not." He also continuously tried to pressure us by saying another salesperson had someone ready to buy the vehicle and that we had to get there before they closed to sign paperwork. It felt like one pressure tactic after another. What frustrated me the most wasn't that we couldn't reach an agreement. It was the complete lack of respect. We were treated as though our questions were an inconvenience. We were talked over, yelled at, interrupted, and belittled throughout the conversation. At no point did this manager show any interest in listening to us or earning our business. My family owns a successful multi-million-dollar business in Wisconsin, and we purchase vehicles on a regular basis. We know how buying and financing works. We have worked with many dealerships over the years, and I can honestly say I have never experienced customer service this poor from anyone in management. We ultimately chose to walk away--not because of price, not because of financing, and not because of the vehicle. We walked away because character matters. Respect matters. Integrity matters. This manager demonstrated none of those qualities. The salesperson was excellent, and I genuinely feel bad that someone like her has to work under a manager who treats customers this way. One manager cost Cavender Cadillac not only this sale but every future purchase our family would have made there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a respectful, honest, and professional buying experience.

When you are done, you start getting communication from five different people to complete your process. Every single person tells you, you are done...and youre not. Every single new phone call comes with a new application process or paperwork that is not done. The last person finally told me I was ready to go.And they had an express appointment for me to pick up my car. When I was six minutes away, I get a phone call to complete the process... Needless to say I was very upset. I finally get there and have to fill out a lot of the paperwork I already filled out because, for some reason, it was not filled out. After all was said and done, despite the promise of an express process, they now had to go get the car and clean it because it was not ready to go. The car was great and I have not had issues with it and the price was good... But if only they could work on the service.

BUT here's my rub - No accounting - dealer claims I paid cash for the repairs and charged me 3% - that means they don't claim the 3% as income AND I can't claim the 3% as expense. My receipt does the repair work and cash paid - not the extra $60 for processing. Moreover they said the debit card is not subject to the 3% charge. Why? Same processing service. Finally - they don't tell you up front - which is something the service advisor should do out front. Heads up to the 3% or use debit card - or get the cash. I would have saved $60. Seems like a little bit it's really not. Bit not enough to lose more than one star

Randolph was closed and so we only needed the bank's approval to get the car BUT they told us they would take the car back to get serviced/ detailed and it would be ready for us the next day around noon. The next day they call us back just to tell us they have sold the car to someone else!!! End of call they said they would call us back. Never did. We ended up calling them back and the next 1-2 phone calls they were running us in circles but this time telling us there was too many issues with the car and they can't sell it to us. Don't think about getting a car here unless you want your "purchase in progress" sold right behind your back.

My experience here involved blatant deceptive practices,…read morea massive breach of consumer privacy, and extreme negligence by top management, specifically the General Sales Manager and the general manager who refers to himself as the executive manager. First, they sold me a vehicle without properly inspecting it. I actually have audio recordings of GM admitting that they skipped required internal processes and cleared engine codes prior to selling me the car to hide the fact the vehicle had no oil in the engine. And they delivered a car that was dirty and had 30 miles left in the tank. Even worse is how recklessly they handle your highly sensitive personal data. When I took my car, I found another customer's fully signed auto loan and lease agreement left inside my vehicle. This document contained all of that person's private personal information. I immediately notified management on a Saturday about this massive security breach. Instead of securing the customer's data, they completely ignored my warning and didn't retrieve the documents until two days later. The GSM admitted on recording that they allowed the vehicle to leave the lot without verifying valid insurance, even though they had us sign official paperwork falsely stating that valid insurance was provided. They are systematically cutting corners on required state documents. When notifying the GSM of these infractions he proceeded to cut me off a lot and call me "buddy" along with his service tech calling me by a different last name. When the GSM was made aware of the vehicle not having oil which was confirmed by three different sources including myself and a autozone tech all of which were recorded by several cameras and at different angles the GSM provided a tow truck only for the camera that was recording to be disconnected from my dash. When confronted the GSM said he had nothing to do with that and the GM later when asked said " You just don't do that". On top of everything that was said, When asked directly " Not to mention, the service engine light wasn't on, which means they erased codes" the GM responded by saying "Right absolutely". The only enjoyable part of this whole situation was our interaction with the finance manager who was amazing the whole time and looked out for us which can't be said about the rest of his team. Lastly, I have management's admission of multiple other infractions fully recorded on audio and video but these were the worst of it.

    I was poking around online one day and found this '07 SL550 AMG at a steal of a deal. The website…read moresaid I could text inquiries, so I did and someone promptly responded. My husband and I made an appointment to come take a look at it and we were greeted by a very nice gentleman named Gabe. We really liked the car when we test drove it, but it started smoking about 10 minutes into the drive. When we returned, Gabe assured us the problem would be fixed and sure enough! Two days later it was perfect! Unfortunately, the car got sold before we could seal the deal, but Gabe was so awesome, we knew he was our guy to purchase a vehicle from! Over the next few weeks, Gabe stayed with me and walked me through several loan steps (I don't do this often, so I had a lot of questions) but he constantly checked on us and made sure he was looking for the exact car we wanted...even on his days off and after hours! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! And BEHOLD! We just walked out with a 2011 black SL550 with 70k miles and in PERFECT condition!!! We signed the paperwork with Cory the general manager, and he was amazing as well. He walked us through all the paperwork, explained it thoroughly, and gave us a maintenance package to go along with it! He told us how diligently him and Gabe searched for that particular car at the price we wanted. We feel so confident that our car has no issues. These people are the most trustworthy and honest bunch. I don't think I'll ever set foot in ANOTHER dealership again!!! Thanks again, Gabe and Cory! You guys rock!!!
