I recommend a contract outlining exactly what tasks are included in your project prior to working with this company. He cut the trees down to 2-3 foot stumps and left the yard a complete mess. Avoid this company--he will make promises he will not keep, and refuse to accept your phone calls once you seek to resolve a problem.

Received a quote from both both integritree and another company. The other company had a much lower quote. When integritree called and asked if he wanted me to do the job, I said I got a much lower quote. He lowered his quote to meet the other company; first he said he would cut down the 2 trees in the back, and the large oak in the front would be pruned, shaped, lifted, etc. and the stump grinding we would do later....we do that once per month. So, I went with Integritree since they were the first to come. When I visited the home I bought (having other work done), the front oak looked pruned, better, but there were several dead branches left. The stumps in the back, particularly one was somewhat high for a cut down, I have seen them closer to the ground. Plus, it had been over a month and they were still there. The $2500 was paid already. I called Integritree (can'yt be sure of the name I dealt with...may have been Justin?) and told him about the front tree branches and why there were stumps....it's been over a month. He said branches die sometimes when you prune a tree (ok if that is true that come back and cut them-I cant get up that high!) He brought up his friend Cody who does fencing which I inquired with Integritree about.) I said Cody came, told him I would be with him in 10 minutes because I have the contractor inside I am dealing with. He said it's ok, he can look around himself. I went back out 10 minutes later and he was gone, never received a quote from him. I told Integritree this, and he sounded as if he were upset that I went with another company. He said he will come during the week for the stumps. Never came. I text him pictures of the branches (not large but very noticeable). I text him when ready to leave and told him to please come and do the stumps, this is not good business. He never replied. Thus out $200.00. My advice get 3 quotes in writing descriptively. Be there for the quotes and if possible be there when work is being done. I got the stumps done by another company because my fence was ready to be put up. Chase was just a Great Guy! I had a very large oak and a long limb over my front yard from a neighbor's tree that needed to be trimmed before the upcoming hurricane season. I called several companies for bids. Bids ranged from $1450 to $1950. All were "recommended" companies. The main differences between the companies were if they were going to do a "Straight" cut or a more artistic cut, and if they wanted the power lines down to our house while cutting. 3 of the 4 said that the live lines were "No concern" to the job. Some of the companies dismissed the question totally, stating that the lines could support the heavy branches of the largest oak tree. Chase was the most personable and respectful person I interviewed for this job. The job took a few steps to get done. I had to call Florida Power to schedule the line being disconnected from my house. They couldn't come for about 3 weeks. All of the other stuff that needed to be done were taken care of by IntegriTree and FPL. Chase and a helper called the day of the trimming and we're on time. They worked together as a team, and asked me about any modifications. They even gave me the choice to have a branch preserved for a bird's nest that was being used by a mother and baby bird. They will come back and trim the branch when I call them. They also trimmed a couple of branches for my neighbor on the front tree per their request.
