I went to Adecco the following morning on Monday, and they attempted to blame me for them not getting in touch with me sooner. The proper way to handle this situation would have been to call me from a business phone Friday or email me, informing me the assignment was ended early. The lack of professionalism by the staff at the Ambridge PA office was incredibly bad. I have never been treated more poorly in any of the jobs I worked at then I did here. I feel like Josh was the first one that listened and found me an interesting full-time position that was a good fit for what I was looking for. So many other recruiters DO NOT do that. I even had one recruiter from a different company laugh at my salary requirements telling me that I needed to, "lower my expectations". Other recruiters would also offer me things like iOS development (when I'm a C# programmer) or 6-month contracting positions when I told them I was only interested in full-time. This has been, by far, my best experience with a staffing agency and recruiter hands down.

I was happy as this was the first job i would have had since i was hospitalized 5 months after being jumped downtown. She said she could place me and had me do on-boarding and would contact me with a start date. She said she had a great relationship with a supervisor and there would be no problems. The following week I asked for an update. No answer. I called the agency and no answer but they make you listen to 22 voicemail introductions. Stacie is a people pleaser who tells you things to make you feel good but as I learned in a college psychology class- they never follow through. They feel better that they made you feel better then pull the carpet out from where you stand. Stay away from the agency. Unprofessional and incompetent. I learned a good lesson, so the sad situation did me teach me a good lesson so not a total waste. I do lots of volunteer work and I was sure I had a job I told people I would help them but then had to deliver the bad news to them.
