Seriously miss Shaun Hampton still but Dr. Saini & Dr. Seth were reliable and trusted providers. Most recently Violetta (NP) was a gem. She would always provide such thoughtful care and referrals for procedures, injections, PT and for treatment from a surgeon which ensured I was getting the best care possible. The support staff was always excellent also. I called today to check on an appointment and heard their message that they've closed their doors permanently. I just received a voicemail stating Integrated Pain Consultants and surgical center of Arizona closed effective immediately. No notice. I can confirm that calls to their office would ring and ring, I'd be put on a hold, saying the call would be answered in one minute, followed by a voicemail stating heavy call volume and after 2 to 3 hours the call would just disconnect. I tried this for an entire business day and never got through to the office. The two Drs who really made a difference during their short employment at IPC were Dr Stephen Karp & Dr Jason, as well as their medical assistants, who kept the "Human" in patient care, and took the time to understand my chronic health condition and the most appropriate care plan for me, not for the general population with my condition. read more

I got to the building 20 minutes early because that is what the text message said that I received the morning of my appointment. I was given the wrong suite number so I was walking around the building for 20 minutes until I finally found the correct office. When I got there, the front desk guy was very rude and said, "didn't you get my text to show up 30 minutes early?" I explained I only got one text and not the one he was referring to. He said he had already marked my appointment as a no show even though I was there on time. He said he would go ask the doctor and then came back and said I am a no show and have to reschedule my appointment. He was very rude and insensitive to how I was feeling. This practice needs to have a little bit more sensitivity towards their patients, especially with how much pain and medical issues we are all going through. I love Dr Saini and Dr Brown. Office has communication problems. Scheduling, prior authorizations, care for patients pain levels are all not communicated to each group. A few people in the office are very rude and disrespectful Always short handed on calls to office for prescription problems, pre authorization, scheduling etc. I was told point blank they don't answer some emails or voicemails. I have spent over 60 minutes on hold many many times. Very bad practice. That being said, I have never ever had and problems, pain or distress with Dr Saini's procedures. Always felt great confidence and care from the people in the procedure rooms. Dr Brown is a great Dr that's cares about her patients pain. She is extremely well at thinking outside the box to reduce her patients pain levels. Using more than one product to help with different pains. read more

I have been trying to clear up an MRI issue with my insurance and this practice. Anytime I call this practice main number of (480) 626-2552 it is a 15 minute to 30 minute wait to speak to anyone "if" someone even picks up. Should I be able to leave a message with the front desk, no one calls back. Therefore I have to track them down to get an answer or response by visiting the Scottsdale office. As a suggestion to the practice, if the lines are busy or the front desk is overloaded, a voicemail system or text message would be extremely helpful read more

This is a hard review to write. I'm never fond of writing reviews that are not good about doctors. I have been coming here for about 10 months or so. Most of the time everything is just fine. Everyone is nice and friendly and helpful. Two times now, I've had them treat me like a second class citizen. I'm not at all used to that. It makes me very uncomfortable and sad. The first time was about the time that Carmen was quitting. I dropped off my dog for her biopsy ( which came back positive for cancer) and had an appointment with Carmen. Somehow, I made a mistake on my time and was 15 minutes late. The waiting room was empty, but she wouldn't see me because I was late. That made my bad day even worse. This last visit I was told that my urine tested positive for some drug that I have never taken in my life. They treated me like a druggie. I had just returned from my mother's home in another state where she had been just placed in Hospice. I had told them this before they told me about the urine screen. I had to look and see why I could show a positive result for a drug I'd never taken. Apparently there is a false positive result for people who take a drug that I take. They know I take this medication. Still, I was treated like something I'm not. I think I would rather not have pain medication and just be in pain than be treated like this again. I did ask for someone to call me about it, but no one did. My husband is a doctor. I worked in healthcare for over 40 years. I was a study coordinator and I do know a little bit about medicine and how we treated patients in our office. This is not it! read more

I started seeing Dr. Saini after finally deciding to treat my low back pain. Years of lifting at work takes it's toll. I initially had a consult with Carmen the nurse practitioner and then I scheduled some epidurals. I was nervous about the procedures but I have to say that after three epidural injections I have gotten some amazing results. What is even better about that office, is that the staff is friendly and organized. There is so much paperwork to fill out, but their system is efficient. Highly recommended! After a silly fall off a ladder, things went from silly to nightmare quickly! Needing multiple surgeries that could not all be done at once, my ortho surgeon referred me to AZIPC in anticipation of a longer than expected road. This is where I met Dr. N. Seth who was able to buy me some time by performing injections in my back, neck and shoulder along with the correct amount of medication. He even offers stem cell and plasma therapies, neither of which are normally covered under insurance but if you can afford them- Life changing! I have since been passed to Carmen Carrabis FNP-C who is amazing along with her staff Shayna and Yessie to name just a couple. BOTH have gone above and beyond whether it's getting me in unexpectedly, quickly getting preauthorizations or referral support just to name a few. Prior to going here I was warned that those who provide "pain management" can often be condescending and dismissive, however that has NOT been my experience at all! From my perspective everyone has been amazingly compassionate and professional and seems truly interested in my journey and getting me back to pre-fall status. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Miss Shayna , (who should run the back office if she doesn't already), is the "sterilizer guru"! This being the first building I went into since being in quarantine, after watching her in action with her spray bottle basically attached to her hand if not hanging from her waste, I was immediately put at ease! Sooooo- long review but if you're in need of a respectable, compassionate pain management team, I HIGHLY recommend the North Phoenix office of AZIPC‼ (101/19 Ave/ Beardsley-ish) each office has its own feel and although I am actually closer to the Scottsdale location, for me- it's definitely worth the drive to the North Phoenix location. I second the many bad reviews with this company. Worst doctor's office I have ever gone to. The place in Mesa gives me a strange sense like I shouldn't be there. I feel like it is a pill pushing place. I was there to get a shot and the few times I have been there, all they want to do is refill pain medicine and the fill-in doctors don't have a clue as to what is going on. I met with Dr Saini only the first time and when he conducted the 2 shots which are test shots before the real shot can be performed. Now it's time to get the real shot and now all of a sudden they don't contract with the surgery center any longer and no one is calling me back. I just looked at my claim and they are charging $45,000 for each TEST SHOT- yes that was $45,000 a shot!!!!! I had this same procedure done at another pain management facility and they only charged $500 a shot. This place is a racket and scary. DO NOT GO THERE! read more

I do not recommend this facility. After seeing the nurse practitioner, we were told an epidural was being ordered. One week later we found out it had never been ordered. All during this time, my husband was experiencing unrelenting back pain. I called to voice my concern and spoke with office staff but they never followed through. We visited a different pain specialist and got full pain relief after an epidural injection. If you are in pain, visit a different pain specialist. read more

I was seen her today after my doctor no longer practices here, my doctor maintained my treatment from a previous doctor so the allegations that she is under investigation for doesn't apply to me, I was seen by Dr.Angus Small Walker. He treated me as if I had a problem, as if I haven't dealt with chronic pain my whole life. The fact that I've been in 5 car accidents and this has changed my way of living. He didn't answer any of my concerns he treated unethical, down right disrespectful. I don't recommend this facility for anyone that deals with chronic pain. read more

After having a consultation with Carmen Carrabis, she ordered a CT scan for my back and told me to schedule an epidural/cortisone shot. After coming back from vacation and getting the CT, I called 3 times to the office and left a message and never got a returned call, so I just went to the office (after being ignored at the front desk for about 5 minutes because they were having a personal conversation) I picked up my CT and went elsewhere. After about 2 months, they have never called or checked on me...shows they really don't care about their patients. read more

It's with mixed feelings, & but a lot of experience at this office, that I write this review. To be as honest, if you see Dr. Seth, you'll be taken in, as he is very charismatic. I truly believe he is a kind, authentic, honest person, obviously has passion for his work, wants to help relieve pain, partly though, like a mad scientist; a brilliant young man ambitious to use his skills. He is beautiful, respectful, healthy looking, down to earth. You don't get to see him after the consult though, only for for "procedures," on the technical end and/or that involve anesthesia. Communication since then, trying to schedule has been a nightmare, except for the girl at the front desk (when you first walk in,) It's so stressful. My last 4 visits were with Angus, Nurse Practitioner. (another bright personable guy.) Saw Dr. Seth (he was first starting out years ago.) My ins. changed (to out of network,) so 2 years passed before I could come back. Now it's a whole different ball game, business boomin in another office, & 3 centers. My first visit was "scheduled wrong," not enough time, & with wrong person, should have been new paitent visit. To Dr. Seth's credit, he made time to see me, so I would not have to come back. We came up with the initial treatment plan, i.e., I would get a cortisone shot in both knees, to first bring down inflammation, while waiting for my ins company to approve Suprex injections, then the shots would work better anyway. I waited and no one came in. They didn't want to bother him again as he was in a procedure, no one knew abt. the cort. injections, someone would call me to schedule them, but no one did. So I called & told several very stressed/hurried people,one of who did admit I didn't need ins. pre approval for that shot, saw it ordered in the chart. Told me to hold on, got disconnected, they said shes never talked to her again. I called back and had to leave a message, (said to be returned within 24) again, no one called back. left message/begged to be called back. Called a nurse advocate for patient care saying that dr Seth said I was to first get the cortisone, my story to 3 people who said it was not in my chart, by then approved for suprex. That laptop that is supposed to be my chart, am I even in there? from the questions they ask it's as if they have no idea what's going on. The day before I am supposed to come in for suprex, no one will give me the cortisone even though I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER him saying that because after he left I sat in the office for a minute and cried because I felt like someone listened to me and someone cared, and finally I am going to be treated like something other than cattle, or just one other old lady with a walker, that finally I would get some relief other than pain meds (not keen on..) I get a call night before to prepare me for the fact I will have to have my first shots by anesthesia, apparently they always do this, a protocol I know nothing about, yes he always does this first (the first I had heard about it?) called a vision scope... hmmm. okay, well,I had been "scheduled wrong..." nothing to eat or drink, etc. So the next day, waiting, she comes in to talk to me, I said I really don't know anything this proc. they said ask Dr.Seth before he does it, by then I had been given meds by injection to not get nausea during it. I was out of it. Next thing I know I am being wheeled out of there, never found out, which knee, what shots? what did the scope do for me, I ask Angus (NP) next time I go in? who says Dr. Seth can find where to give stem cells, (those are not covered by insurance) & I did discuss doing that procedure. Later receive a bill for that "scope" total almost $5,000.00, wait minute, it said it's they used an anesthesiologist out of network. I don't know that person. I thought that is what Dr.Seth was, saw the certificate on his wall. My insurance won't pay out of network. They didn't ask me if that's okay? Now it's so high pressure there; it all moves so fast. On those days I have to walk so far with my walker to get to the door, painful knees are distracting; it's like a blur. You have to be a very assertive person, cause I am the type that speaks up, but it oddly got me nowhere. They will ask me how many shots I've had, wondering what they are supposed to be doing? Isn't that in my chart? I don't know what their plan is. It's like they know nothing about me. Asked me what meds Angus put me last time, I can't spell it, Gaba something, and tylenol with codeine, is is Oxy or is it ? I can't even remember what she asked me. (I have 90.00 co pays there) & if you are on meds, you have to go monthly. I two months, canceled an apt. due to true illness, it took me 4 tries to get an apt. Last time I called patient advocate, said I am sitting here crying my eyes out, she sent me to a machine, said leave a message. I could say so much more. Good doctors? bad system? read more

Dr. Saini and Sandra Gallo NP have been great, I moved to Az on high doses of pain med. I wanted to try to get my life by decreasing the meds but not being in terrible pain. They worked with me all through. Dr. Saini listened to all my concerns and in between Sandy stayed on monitoring my progress. I still have procedures as needed such as the medial nerve block which helps me tremendously. Everyone at the office has been great, friendly and definitely knowledgeable. Pain is a tricky business and alot of it depends on the patients attitude and willingness to work with the people trying to help you. I highly recommend IPC with Sandy Gallo, she has truly been a life saver that God has put on earth! I have followed Sandy since l first seeked pain management . I needed surgery from an car accident in 2002 then another one 2017, she has treated me with medication which she has me under watch since l have high blood pressure and diabetics and fibromyalgia and etc.. She takes her time to go over my procedures and medication . Which day by day I' feel good! She has decreased my medication and made me feel good about it. There was a times when my family was worried about me but now we can rest assure that Sandy has my treatments under control. IPC makes each individual feel like their special and on a treatment plan that suited them!! She never treats you like a number, she actually cares about you and what you're going through. Worst experience in my 30 years of pain management. Now I can't even get a discharge letter so I can go see another doctor without them literally hanging up on me! RUDE! Ive had to call them 3 times, leave messages, and yet I'm told they've never gotten a request so it will now take another week and it's already been over a week. I really hate LIARS and excuses. Lying is why I left their practice in the first place. They tell you one thing and do another and when you call them on it they just say "it's our policy" or something else just as inane like I have no brain cells to think with for myself. Or they just don't answer at all and change the subject. One response was "it was always going to be that way" Huh? Really? Nurse Gallo was really good at smiling in your direction, rarely made eye contact, and promising you she'd take care of you. Then blowing off anything you said with a "you'll be fine next week" or "we all do that" (when I told her I haven't been able to lay down to sleep in over 15 years my back hurts so bad.) She thinks no one should have pain meds because her sister died from them. Should NOT be in this line of work!! read more
