Edwin has been my insurance agent for about 4 months now and I am amazed at all the help he has…read moregiven me. Reasons to select him as your insurance agent: 1. Promptness and attention to detail. I also contacted another local Farmer's agent and had some difficulty reaching them by phone. I needed to set up insurance around the Thanksgiving break and Edwin got back to me right away and I was able to pay for our auto/home/umbrella policy over the phone. 2. Understands the system. I have a PhD and most people would consider me a smart person, but I do not understand insurance. Edwin very patiently explained all the details of the different limits to me. 3. Problem solver. Due to some confusion in the Farmer's system, I received a refund that I did not ask for. Edwin took care of this error by tracking down the paper trail and patiently explained to me what was going on. With most insurance companies, I probably would have needed to talk to customer service for hours to solve this problem that was not of my own making. 4. Overall good person and neighbor. I was hit by another car recently and Edwin explained my coverage, what to expect, and even offered to pick up groceries for me!

The staff at Jon Laskin's office (I specifically work with Jennifer Luca) has been exceptional. They are responsive, efficient, and never hesitate to answer any question regardless of how silly. When car shopping, Jennifer and team were able to provide rates while I was looking at various years, makes, models, and packages. They have also been great at dealing with multiple transactions at one time, such as trading in a vehicle and replacing it with a different one on the same day. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to their team (I have) and look forward to working with them for any future needs.

Zero Customer Service Ethic…read more State Farm made a mess of my policy data. One of my vehicles disappeared from my policy for several weeks, other vehicles were added briefly, and non-related drivers were added. None of this was Mr. Munson's fault. However, throughout the entire ordeal that spanned two months or so, he never reached out to apologize on behalf of State Farm. As the public-facing representative, he should have made an effort to contact me, apologize and try to make the situation better. Despite being cc'd on several emails over the course of the issues and multiple direct emails from me to him, he never replied or responded once. If he had, I might not have canceled my State Farm auto, home & umbrella policies after 40 years of being a customer. Good job, Mr. Munson, you helped cost State Farm ~$3,000/year. The staff was professional, communicative and did their best to make a bad situation better. Not Mr. Munson. He was completely inept at customer relations.
