At the time, I was extremely dissatisfied with my lackluster Mercury insurance agent. I was an unannounced walk-in in Kathleen and Phil's office (referred by Mercury's main office): Kathleen and Phils saw me right away, provided the immediate answers they could, called me with the researched answers by the next day. They shared that they reality was they could not take me on as a new client because my current policy was not up for renewal for several month, and it was not in my (financial) interest to cancel my current one and start a new one. While I REALLY appreciated their integrity, I was also quite disheartened as my current agent would take several WEEKS to get back to me, and it was like pulling teeth to get any communication, let alone service from them... Kathleen and Phil had gone out of their way to be of assistance, even knowing that I might not be able to become a client now, or in the future. Their level of courtesy & integrity, their listening, as well as how personable they were, and the small-neighborhood feel of their office, is exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere where I would sense that my calls and messages would be heard and returned timely within a day, in case there might be an issue... As my father always says: "You always get insurance, with the hope to never use it! But you always get it..." Cut to a few months later, today I talked to Mercury's main office again as my policy is finally up for renewal and they said I can request Kathleen and Phil's office as my new agents or record, so I am putting in the request for that change. I am thrilled to finally see this partnership going!!
