I am honestly so over this place…read more I set up my policy with them last year and was paying over $480 for one car. I was told that adding everyone in my household would lower my rate. Later, I found out I had actually been paying an extra $100 per month to have my younger brother added to my policy. He does not drive my car. The only reason I agreed to add him was because I was explicitly told it would reduce my payment. When I asked for an explanation as to why I was told this, they had no answer. When I asked how much extra I had been paying because of him, they said they would "look into it" and I never heard back. Canceling my policy was an absolute nightmare. Even after requesting that all policies be canceled, I continued to receive letters. I later found out my life policy hadn't been canceled because it's supposedly "separate," which was never clearly explained. I canceled that as well a week or two ago, yet I am now receiving emails saying I missed a payment on a policy that should already be canceled. They pulled the exact same stunt on my mom, telling her it would be cheaper to add my brother to her policy which was also completely false. This feels incredibly misleading and dishonest. If you currently have a policy with them, I strongly suggest you double or triple check exactly what you're being charged for and why. Ask questions and don't take their word for it. Coming here was one of the worst mistakes I've made. I switched because I was told it would be cheaper and as time went on it would lower only for it to go up when the policy renewed and I couldn't have been more wrong.

My time with them was not good. I filed a claim for my roof. They sent an adjuster, feedback, there…read moreWAS hail damage to the metal vent covers but not to the shingles. Interesting. My contractor and me reached out multiple times to speak to Tim or have him contact us. He never did. I was told in an email that if I want to talk to Tim, I had to email him. Tim and State Farm have no problem taking your money, but you will get no support, and the claims people will fight you tooth and nail to prevent providing you coverage. It is my opinion Tim's cowardice prevented him from having difficult conversations or supporting his clientele, let alone returning a phone call. Don't waste your money or time with State Farm or this agent. The only redeeming experience was the ladies that work in the office.

Alan Zimmerer - State Farm Insurance Agent - Honda Van repaired for $3,250

A lady ran into our Honda Van April 23, 2024 damaging it. State Farm Claims towed our Van away and…read moreafter delay tried to send me from home in Fort Worth to NW Oklahoma City for a rental vehicle! (Anette or Donna tried to help.) SF Claims ignored a letter on fair market value from our Certified Mechanic who had serviced the Van since new, it was also low mileage, SF ignored it. SF made a low-ball offer on our Van which I refused and I asked them to return our Van. Also said they were "taking the rental vehicle away". (Nice pressure tactic, right?) After THREE written demands for return of our Van over months still our Van was not returned! (I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran and a large Army green three-wheel recumbent bike was custom built for me to strengthen my legs weakening due to Agent Orange. I needed our Van to transport our two bikes.) SF produced a ridiculous $14,000 estimate on our Van which included things it did not have and a model it was not! I bought a vehicle for $20,000 cash to have a vehicle to temporarily replace our Van and insured it with a different company. A Lawyer colleague offered to help me, he immediately wrote a demand to SF Claims. Our Van was finally returned AFTER OVER FIVE MONTHS! It was returned with a broken windshield I had replaced ($400), a siphoned gas tank and interior mold where rain water had leaked in. ! I had the 4/23/24 wreck damage repaired for $3,250 cash not even close to $14,000! I also had to buy a $200 Engine module because the "Van had sat too long". Our Van is fine now except for the remaining cosmetic damage caused by SF not by the lady. I FINALLY received a Check from SF for property damage and loss of use of our Van 13+ MONTHS AFTER THE LADY HIT ME ON 4/23/24! My Attorney wanted to sue SF for Unfair Claims Settlement Practices and Deceptive TradePractices but I did not want to be involved in litigation with SF for 2-3 years. I have been a SF Insured for over 50 years, about 40 with Alan Zimmerer, and I have NEVER caused a wreck. I have easily paid over $100,000 in premiums. Due to SF Claims I have lost confidence in SF! And in Alan, he is NOT MY AGENT, he refused to help me and clearly proved the sole Agent he is. After months and I HAD TO accept help from an Attorney, Alan said he couldn't even talk to me. He didn't help before either to my knowledge. Beware-- Alan is NOT your Agent! I no longer view SF as "a good neighbor" or being there to fairly help me and our family. My wife a University Graduate Chair and I longtime attorney are leaders in our community and church, we will no longer recommend State Farm. If they treat us this way, how do they treat others? We treat snakes in the grass with great caution. The same from now on with State Farm. Caveat Emptor.

Can I give Allstate and this agency less than 1 star. Just confirms what everyone thinks about…read moreinsurance companies as a bunch of thieves that never want to pay. We had hail damage and Allstate confirmed we have hail damage on all the gutters, garage door and all the metal caps on the roof but somehow this magic hail missed all the shingles on the roof. They take thousands and thousands of your money and then do not want to pay when you have damage and refuse to cover what was damaged under their policies. I will never ever but another policy from Allstate and as a real estate agent will advice anyone to strongly consider avoiding this company like the plague. Paid this agency thousands of dollars and they do not do a damn thing to help just rob you of your money.

Dishonest. I received an estimated quote for $785.33, enticing me to call in. After discussing the…read moredetails with an agent, I was quoted $1747. She tried to tell me the estimate was based on the assumption that my car would have been added to gain an additional discount. Even so, with my car added, it only brought the actual quote down to $1478. Still nearly double the estimate. Interesting how the sample quote made NO mention of the assumption of a discount, due to combined car + home coverage. When I challenged her on the more than double price quote, she tried to sell me the story that until they talk to me they can't give me an actual quote. However, during the conversation we had, there was essentially no new data provided to create a firm quote, except for one big thing. She said their data showed I had a fireplace. I specifically shopped for houses with no fireplace and mine is one of them. They could verify this at Zillow or any other real-estate website with pics of my house, but they already know this. Once she accepted that, it should actually have made their "temptation quote" even less than the phony $785.33 price they initially stated. They already had all the data to give me an honest estimate in the first place, fireplace data and assumption of combined quote aside. Shameful. I don't appreciate being duped into making a phone call to dishonest sales agents. I'm increasing the rating from 1 to 3 stars to give the benefit of the doubt since this is the only interaction I have to go on.
