Zach, from Brandi Warmbier's insurance office, will steal $85 from you. Wait, that might not be…read moreentirely fair. Let me say this, Zach, an insurance salesman who works out of this office, struggles to do his job so that you will not loose $85 on auto insurance you never wanted or ever used. Let me step back and tell the story. I started shopping around to see if I could get a better rate on my auto insurance, put my info on one of those websites, and within minutes I got inundated with emails. The next day the phone calls started coming in, and Zach manages to get a hold of me and quotes me a good rate for auto insurance. I tell him to sign me up, which he does. The next day he calls me back to tell me that an incident popped up on my drivers record (a very minor scratch from about 4 years ago that I had forgotten) and that would make my premiums more expensive than originally quoted, and higher than my former insurance with Geico. I tell him then I'm not interested in State Farm and ask him to refund my first month's premium since I was quoted a different price. He says he will but that it may take a few weeks to show up on my bank statement. A few weeks go by and the $85 charge is still on my statement, so I call Zach back and can't get through to him and leave him a voicemail. No reply. A few more weeks goes by and I get a bill from State Farm for another month's premium. It turns out, not only has Zach not refunded my money, but he never un-enrolled me for their auto insurance. I call back and get ahold of Zach and he successfully un-enrolls me, but then says because I was "technically insured" by State Farm for a month (even though I told him I was uninterested and asked him to un-enroll me less than 14hrs after my original quote), the underwriters would not refund the first month's premium. I told him I expect my money to be refunded because I did not ask for these services. He said he would talk to the underwriters and get back to me. Weeks go by, no word from Zach. Voicemails and emails go unreturned, and State Farm still has my $85 that rightfully belongs to me. Filing in small claims court costs $65, so I've decided that the crooks can keep my $85 that they've stolen from me, but they will never, ever get any additional business from me, my family, or my friends ever again. Procede with caution.

My girlfriend and I recently moved to Minnesota (from California) and my previous insurance company…read moreof many years informed me that my insurance would not apply to the land of 10,000 lakes... So I logged onto the State Farm site and signed up for renters insurance. Sharlene promptly gave me a call. She quickly became my new agent. Primarily because she is very polite and professional. I secured a renters insurance plan for only about $8 per month! If my experience had ended there it would have been a 4.5 Star transaction... TRAGICALLY it did not. Since I was also in the market for Auto insurance as well I figured it couldn't hurt to get a quote. I told her that all I needed was the state minimums as I have never been in an accident (Knock on wood). She sent me over a quote for about $80 per month. It sounded about what I was paying for in California so I agreed. Two months passed... I miraculously received my first bill in the mail. It was sent to the wrong address but the post office managed to get it to me anyways. The bill read $145 for the month!!! Good God! My rate had almost doubled! I now owed nearly $300 for two months of auto insurance! I was an idiot and paid it, because they told me that if I canceled then they would have to report it and my rates would go up for not having coverage between policies. 20 days later I get home and check the mail and find a bill sent to the wrong address with my name on it. My monthly insurance rate is now $225.05 for the month! FML!!! 3 months into my plan, my rates have dramatically increased with each consecutive passing month without letting me know why. After a number of calls to State Farm, they still cant send my mail to the proper address. I have never in my entire life had such a terrible experience with any company. Do not do business with them, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
