They proved their worth again this past year after a fluke accident with tie downs on a canoe we were carrying on the roof of our car snapped and ricocheted back busting up the hood of our car, the side doors, the windshield and the rear bumper. The Lord must have been looking out for us that day because it happened while we were traveling 65 MPH on the freeway, but the canoe never flew off the roof so no one else in traffic was effected... just our very own vehicle. Girtz Insurance helped point us in the right direction to make the claim and when the insurance company jacked our rates way up because of something we had no control over, Girtz helped us shop the market for a new insurance company and policy. At the end of the day we ended up paying more, but that's because after they found us a significant bundled savings through Prudential, we ended up adding some additional coverage options we didn't have before. Now I feel safe and secure and grateful! I wouldn't have been able to shop the market for policy options and pricing if I was with AF.
