All 3 visits of mine were handled by Dr. Ranya Ghumrawi with Rebekah as the hygienist. Going to most medical providers I'm used to arriving early and waiting -- with ACF, each time I was greeted with an on-time appointment. In the dentist's chair all materials were ready to go and I felt like I was in good hands, literally. Dr. Ghumrawi takes a thorough approach. Previous dentists visits would be 99% of time with the hygienist and then the dentist just comes along and checks each of my teeth with the tool that goes "tik tik." At ACF at least 50% of my appointment time was spent under the care and close examination by the dentist. It turns out I had some long term issues that were left unnoticed for years. Seeing those caught just in time, saved me the grief from painful and costly operations later on. I wanted to wait until I had a few visits before posting my review. I would give this place my full recommendation.

She recommended Dysport for my Botox treatment, which lasted over 3 months, and used Restylane Kysse for my lips. So I pitched up for that overdue cleaning on Monday (today is Thursday). I am about to turn 63 years old and have seen many dentists in the intervening years, but not a single one to compare to Dr. Martin and the excellence of the care I received at his practice. He and his staff knocked my socks off in the best possible way. They were thorough and expert. The office even has an X-ray machine that produced a panoramic picture of my teeth. I stood side by side with the lady who cleaned my teeth and examined the image while she explained various details and answered all of my questions fully and patiently. When Dr. Martin came in to review the cleaning job that had been done, he did something no dentist before him had done for me: He performed a manual examination of my mouth and neck, probing with his fingers for lumps or any signs of any mass that might indicate something needing further attention. I have finally found my forever dentist. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

When I arrived, Pam took my information and co-pay and asked me to have a seat in the waiting room. Pam is efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. I only waited 5 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken to an exam room by an assistant, Grace. Again, efficient and polite. The staff at WellAve is awesome. After a few minutes, Erin Brimhall, came in to perform the exam. She quickly diagnosed this gross thing on my neck and froze it off right then and there. I also have some weird thing going on with my arms. Erin recommended a steroid tape and told me how much my pharmacy would probably charge - $55 (she was correct, BTW). She told me if it was $55 and I didn't want to pay that much, she could prescribe a less expensive medication and to just let her know if I wanted to go that route. Erin first recommended the tape because it's way easier to work with than the topical cream. Good recommendation. She asked that I follow up in 6 weeks so she could check that gross thing on my neck again. Erin has a terrific bedside manner and doesn't rush through the exam. She takes time to be thorough and answers your questions. Back to Pam, who found me an appointment 6 weeks out at a convenient time. These people get it. When you make an appointment, you expect to be taken as close to your appointment time as possible. So many other practices just don't seem to care if they waste your time.
