Alan's speedy response to our request for diagnosis of a defective washer was much appreciated…read more He was very precise and straightforward about what the problems were and how effective the solutions might be. He then very quickly got back to us with exact quotes for each of the two possible solutions, and advised of a multi-week back order for the main part. His financial arrangements are very straightforward and represent good value. In the end we decided to go with a new washer, but Alan really impressed us and we will have him as first choice for any other appliance issues we may face.

Capital Appliance was sent out by Electrolux as my fridge was having a lot of condensation issues…read moreand was under warranty. Capital Appliance did not fix my fridge that was under warranty from Frigidaire. My fridge is now out of warranty. The request was put in April. Their tech came out in April, nothing was replaced or fixed. No one came back out until September to replace a back panel. That did not fix the condensation issue. The tech's damaged the fridge, floors, and oven. The tech cracked a hole in my fridge that condensation is not getting into. The owner Robert made it seem he was working with Electrolux to replace the fridge unit. Is not responsive to emails and phone calls. Found out from Electrolux that Capital Appliance closed my file behind by back. They lied to Electrolux about the diagnosis, lied about fixing the fridge, lied about the parts that were fixed, and pushed my fridge outside of warranty. My fridge is still not fixed and the owner/business will not respond to my emails. I would not recommend Capital Appliance and I would not recommend Frigidaire/Electrolux products.

After deciding a new unit was need, he gave some comments on the different manufactures that were out there, as well as what I should be asking about the cost. So, i was tempted to give this company four stars, just so i would be believed as i don't give many…read morereviews, however, they deserve five, so that is what i am giving. It is SO nice to have a repair person come and actually be honest! So this company seemed really busy, spelled my name wrong, address was wrong, etc, I was annoyed, but stuck with them and was so glad i did. When the repair man (Bibi) came, he said the $80 consultation visit/fee would come off the final bill, and it did! We needed a new door-button, but because the appliance is ten years old, he had to find a whole new "face" to fit the button. so he searched, found it, put it in, and it cost $220 for two visits and the new part. To find the problem he checked out all the electrical stuff, he said the dryer was still in good condition, which was nice to hear, as we don't use it much. Bibi seemed friendly and skilled, I would use them again.
