My family was in a tough spot with our mother when she was no longer able to live at home. Most of them have a small number of caregivers providing care to many people at the same time. We had also heard horror stories of those types of places from caregivers that had worked in them. It was clear to us that we needed something more like her home that she was moving out of, with more care, and a much more personal relationship. Diamond Oaks Home Care was just what we were looking for. They are located in a home with plenty of privacy, but that is also small enough where everyone knows everyone and the staffing was excellent. My mother got better care there than we were able to provide her at home. Their family became our family. They were well staffed and are extremely accommodating. They legitimately just wanted to provide the best care for my mother. If you are in a tough situation and absolutely do not want to move your loved one away from their home, like I was, are worried about the quality of care that they will receive, and how it will effect them, my suggestion is to go see the people at Diamond Oaks Home Care. Have a conversation with them about your personal situation and how they might be able to help your loved one. We are happy to have met them and really appreciate everything that they did for our mother.

She had some special dietary requirements and physical challenges. They took the time to figure out a care plan and followed through. The meals were nutritious and made fresh daily. They were also able to facilitate working with hospice which helped quite a bit since I couldn't always be there. I was able to come by to visit anytime and they also treated me with respect and kindness. I would highly recommend Diamond Oaks. It's rare that you find people who care for your loved one as well as you would.
