After what my friend went through at his previous assisted living facility, we were understandably anxious. That anxiety disappeared almost immediately once he settled in here. The environment itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. There's a real sense of community here, not just a facility. My friend is more engaged, more relaxed, and overall much happier than he's been in a long time. That peace of mind is priceless--not just for him, but for those of us who care about him. We feel incredibly relieved and grateful that he found this place. It's everything we had hoped for and more, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality senior living.

I had never needed any type of home care services before, so I admit that I was a bit reluctant to jump in feet first...untiI, as sole caregiver for many months, I realized that the need for professional home care was upon us. I initially met with agency owner Lisa Taylor; she came to our home with materials in hand, a warm glowing personality, and presented her company's services in a most impressive way. I knew that THIS is what I wanted and needed for my loved one in order to keep him at home as I'd vowed I would -- rather than 'placement' in a facility somewhere. I immediately felt overwhelming relief and security knowing that he was going to be in the very best of hands...and he was! Without question, Lisa and her hand-picked team are amazing. A rare blend of professionalism, sensitivity and empathy, and a warmth exuded at every turn...I could not have asked for more! We…read morelooked around at all of the larger care facilities and it seemed like our mother would be just another number. Most of them have a small number of caregivers providing care to many people at the same time. We had also heard horror stories of those types of places from caregivers that had worked in them. It was clear to us that we needed something more like her home that she was moving out of, with more care, and a much more personal relationship. Diamond Oaks Home Care was just what we were looking for. They are located in a home with plenty of privacy, but that is also small enough where everyone knows everyone and the staffing was excellent. My mother got better care there than we were able to provide her at home. Their family became our family. They were well staffed and are extremely accommodating. They legitimately just wanted to provide the best care for my mother. If you are in a tough situation and absolutely do not want to move your loved one away from their home, like I was, are worried about the quality of care that they will receive, and how it will effect them, my suggestion is to go see the people at Diamond Oaks Home Care. Have a conversation with them about your personal situation and how they might be able to help your loved one. We are happy to have met them and really appreciate everything that they did for our mother.
