We had some problems flooring after moving into our new home, and had only one option with our builder. It wasn't a good option, so we consulted several flooring companies in the area. Floor Masters went out of their way to establish an account with a manufacturer that carried the flooring we wanted. The Floor Master installers were professional, courteous and did a superb job with the installation. The house was spotless after they finished and cleaned up. Hello! I just wanted to give a big shout out to Black Gold Flooring and Remodeling for the great…read morework they did on all my floors and new kitchen. Both of the owners, Ronaldo and Amanda are wonderful to work with. The prices were much more reasonable than other businesses. Ronaldo was able to take my vision and bring it to life; which is probably not easy when I was trying to explain what I was looking for He's a bit of a mind reader. The work was done to my schedule since I wanted to paint the rooms prior to the floors installed and since I was the only painter, it took a bit longer than anticipated. No pressure. Just understanding and kindness plus many boosts of encouragement to me on my work, which I really appreciated. In the end, the work was all done with very few issues. If they did arise, we worked them out without any further concerns. Done and Done. Ronaldo has a really nice, professional crew and they are all awesome to work with. You're in good hands with Black Gold Flooring. Thanks Black Gold Flooring!

This is the best store of this sort I have ever been in…read more The wife wanted to go here, it was never on my radar. The word "decor" made me think it was sort of like a HomeGoods type of place, vases, baskets, signs that say "Wine O'clock", that sort of thing. In fact they do not carry those, but they have a truly impressive selection of tile, both floor and wall, and flooring. No matter what one is looking for in tile or flooring, they will likely have it here, and will not be plunking one down at a desk to open binders. They also have a much broader selection of colored grouts and caulks than H*** D**** or L****. Well-stocked, clean, huge facility , plenty of staff willing to be helpful but not biting my ankle. Prices seemed good to me. For example, they had a nice beige ceramic tile, 12" x 12", for only .49 each, and I thought it was quite nice, a super cheap way to redo a floor. They have some hypnotic tile patterns that I have never seen before, nice eye candy ( see photos ). So I can't give them a 5 as I did not go through the process of a good size order with them, we just bought a few diddly things, but if you are doing this sort of project, you should consider coming here instead of places staffed by those with orange or blue aprons.

Lots of carpet samples to look at as well as wood, vinyl flooring. They were so helpful and asked questions to what we were looking for, price range, their recommendations for us. After about 45min we left with several carpet sample books to take home and look at. That was a great help and it was easy making my mind up. Called them back the next day and Chris came out and measured our house and talked us into having vinyl put in the entry into our dining room and hallway to the bedrooms and took back our sample books to save us a trip back. Chris called us back with the price the next day. We thought it was a good price and decided no more running the roads searching for something cheaper. Since the Co-vid flare up they were backed up and that we had to wait 3-4 weeks. We we're OK with that. Gave them our deposit and the carpet was ordered. Much to our surprise we were called and informed we could have our carpet installed sooner!! We had to remove breakables and other precious belongings that we didn't want to take a chance and accidentally have broken. Roy and Mark arrived on time the day and start of installation and they were very personable and friendly. This continued the whole time of installation and they worked well together and only took 30 min lunch break. The flooring in the dining room and hallway looked great, so glad Chris talked us into it. The carpet choices I made were perfect and Roy and Mark did an outstanding job installing it. New trim installed as well, it looked fantastic when everything was completed. They put back all our furniture and cleaned up the old and hauled it off. Our driveway was swept and when they left it was as if they never came. Thank you Teena for great communication to us, thank you Chris for great information and suggestions on our choices, and WELL job done Roy and Mark. We highly recommend Surfaces Flooring and I always believe in giving our support to our local businesses. A+ Bob and Debbie, Homosassa, Fl.
