We had some problems flooring after moving into our new home, and had only one option with our builder. It wasn't a good option, so we consulted several flooring companies in the area. Floor Masters went out of their way to establish an account with a manufacturer that carried the flooring we wanted. The Floor Master installers were professional, courteous and did a superb job with the installation. The house was spotless after they finished and cleaned up. I don't often write reviews unless a product or service provided is exceptional. I brought this to the attention of one of the owners, Matt. He refused to change the estimate they provided. They attempted to charge for 1109 sf when the space only measures (by their measurements) 1003 sf. The explanation was that the customer is paying for the excess tile required to install the floor tile. (Waste due to cuts). I explained that he can not charge me an install price of the total amount of tile purchase, he can only charge me for the tile ACTUALLY installed. They are overcharging EVERY customer by the 10% overage that they purchase. It's a SCAM. They apparently do it with carpet as well. People only pay for what's installed not for what's purchased! SCAMMING THE ELDERLY.
