The store is close to my apt. Literally a 5 min. Or less walk. I had stopped on several occasions to purchase items for myself and got aquatinted with the owner , a very lovely and gracious woman and also met her husband who has been very pleasant on more than one meeting while patronizing the establishment. When I asked about a referral to a psychic medium for myself to do a reading I was referred to Ellen born to apparently works out of inspiration point. I made an appointment which turned out to be an utter disaster with Ellen. Ellen born is the most horrible unprofessional person I ever met. Totally disappointed with the referral to Ellen. I would highly recommend not making appointment with Ellen Bourne, I would not recommend HER to anyone. I was tempted to tell the proprietors of inspiration point they should not have her work for them anymore she (Ellen NOT anyone else at the store) was anything but professional. She was rude, narcissistic, and totally unapologetic about my whole appointment that was ruined ..by Ellen. If you are refer to Ellen from anyone in the store to do a psychic reading from you I would strongly advise you to read my review as to why I would advise against doing so. Is selling stolen merchandise. Takes items a customer brings for sale. She keeps them for appraisal. When you telephone to come pick up your cash, she tells you "Thank You for The Donation" . Offers no cash. Keeps your items claiming they were already dispersed around the store or sold. This husband wife team live in a large house and have money. They do not need donations. I never donated anything to them. They stole my items easily worth $150 in sales at their store. read more

Before I write about my experience for today I want to state this is a clean well maintained space with a good vibe. They have many items to assist and inform on metaphysical I have spoke to Claire a few times and found her guidance and assistance helpful. There are many items and aids to enhance one's journey with books, incense and notions. I attended a demonstration and talk about cranio-sacral therapy for healing. I wasn't sure what to expect but found session interesting. The speaker was Debbie Miller who was knowledgeable and informative during the discussion and demonstration as well. I learned about energy as it moves through the body and supports the body in healing. I was fortunate to be selected as a subject for the demonstration and get first hand experience in the metaphysical therapy. I didn't feel any immediate result from the session but learned that it isn't always a fast response and that working with one area can and will affect a different area in the body. What I was aware of after the session and sitting up on the massage table I felt an exhilarating rush to my head area as did others who were afforded the opportunity to experience the session. I was impressed with knowledge imparted to the attendees by Deborah. I am considering a follow-up with her to see if I will be able to get any release from the areas in my body that i have difficulties. I am grateful for this experience and optimistic on my healing journey. read more

Lovely selection of crystals, candles, books, altar items and anything else you may need. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the crystals. You can find some really unique pieces here, too! The employees are always pleasant and will answer any questions you may have. I was gifted a reading for my birthday last year and went before I started a new job. The reading helped me get clarity on the career path I was about to embark on, and gave me some relief. I plan on getting another reading done in the near future. read more

Books, incense, "spiritual" trinkets and gifts and an amazing lady who runs it all! The feel in this store is calm and peaceful and cell phone usage is discouraged. If you have one of those friends who practices yoga often, talks about being "in the now," this would be a great place to get a gift for them. It's also fun to come and browse those astrology books ;). When I came in here once, they even offered free "spiritual readings," (I don't think they do anymore) and I took one and it was really fun! I have visited several times, and each time I leave feel unsure whether I want to return to the store. The owner means well, but she makes shoppers uncomfortable. The last time I was in, she loudly told a customer that she couldn't make change for him from a back room because there were other people here shopping. We all looked uncomfortably at each other, wondering if we should leave. And when I was at the register a few minutes later to pay for my items, she asked me where the book was that I was holding earlier. I explained that I had showed my sister a page from it before returning it to the shelf. She sniffed, and I got the clear sense that she thought that I was about to walk out of the store with the book. All in all, I prefer not to be made uncomfortable when I could just as easily take my business elsewhere. read more

They have a well-chosen selection of books, music, and other spiritually-related items ... even a few Tibetan singing bowls ... and the owner (Sandy) is friendly and kind. Well named for sure, as I always leave inspired. They have a very unique selection of beautiful jewellery, with some of the most exquisite necklaces and pieces I have ever seen. Plus an amazing book Collection. Even if I don't buy anything for myself or a gift for someone, I often spend time browsing just to enjoy the bright energy there and maybe learn something new by the cool conversations usually taking place. They offer a large selection of incense, decor, beginner and advanced tools for spiritual growth, jewellery, trinkets, and many more wonders that I will leave for the element of surprise. They supply a lot of their inventory from local artists and venders. Even if you aren't into this "scene", it's worth a trip because there's something for everyone. I found a really cool book for my baby nephew, one of a kind! Lastly, don't we all love to support local business and the cultural enriching of our city?!
