I asked for a gel pedicure and picked out a tannish color. The pedicure was alright but definitely quick, trying to get it over with.. no massage and I wasn't asked what nail shape. For my full set, I asked for short, thin, square nails with the same tannish color that was used on my toes but with a white pearl chrome powder added. Pictures of what I received... white, thick, longer than I asked for, very crooked nails. I was trusting the process and shouldn't have. It was close to closing when he was finishing, so everything was getting closed up but I had scheduled an appointment. I could tell they weren't great or what I asked for but didn't really get an opportunity to look to well at them, so I just skipped the tip (usually I tip well, that's if it's deserved). Well, I got home and was ready to cry.. my nails looked horrible and was nothing like what I asked for. The crookedness is absolutely ridiculous and it looks like I have angled nails. I decided I would call back when they opened to see if they would be willing to fix them. I called and was nice, explaining I had got my nails done 2 days prior and they are not what I asked for and crooked. There was a long silence and then some blabbering of another language between the 2 nail technicians.. then I get told "Come 1 o'clock for fix", I said "unfortunately I'm working calling on my lunch break- I can come right after during business hours".. she said "no, no late than 3" even though they are open until 6:30pm. I said "I will not be off in time, could I come Monday?" She said "no. After week you pay for fix" I said, "I got them done on Wednesday, I can come Monday or Tuesday".. "no, you pay". The pedicure wasn't great for $60, but nothing needed fixed.. but I was charged $70 for this set of nails that they wanted to charge me an additional rate to fix their mistakes... will NOT be back nor recommend. I tried addressing the situation with the employees before giving my honest review but that didn't work, just trying to save someone else from this issue!

First, the positives: the atmosphere is definitely a vibe! It's cute, relaxing, and has a nice overall feel. I also appreciated that the service comes with snacks, which is a fun little touch that makes the experience feel more elevated. Most importantly, I love how my nails turned out. My nail technician did a great job, and I was very happy with the finished product. Where things got a little frustrating was with communication. I requested a basic pedicure with gel polish and a gel polish color change on my fingernails. The receptionist mentioned that she was confused about my request, which caught me off guard because I felt like I was pretty clear about what I wanted. I also didn't understand why I was charged separately for removing my previous gel polish when I was getting a gel polish change. To me, removing the old gel seems like part of the process of changing the gel color, so I would have appreciated having that explained before the service. My fiancé also got a manicure for the first time. He specifically and repeatedly requested no polish. Unfortunately, clear polish was still applied to his nails. He didn't even realize it had been put on until I noticed his nails later. That was probably the biggest communication issue for us because he had clearly expressed what he wanted. Then, when it was time to pay, there was another mix-up. Our services were incorrectly assigned between our bills. Instead of me being charged for the gel polish change on my hands, I was charged for the pedicure. His manicure and my pedicure should have been on his bill, while I should have only been charged for my gel polish change. We didn't really push the issue at the time because it felt like trying to untangle everything was only going to create more chaos. However, it is something worth mentioning because clear communication and accurate billing are important parts of the overall customer experience. Would I go back? Yes. I wouldn't write the salon off based on this experience. My nails genuinely turned out great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and little extras like the snacks. I think there is room for improvement when it comes to communication, listening to specific requests, and making sure services are entered and billed correctly. For now, I'd personally rate my experience around a 3.4/5. The nail quality and atmosphere definitely earned points, while the communication and billing issues brought the overall experience down. I'd suggest booking an appointment rather than walking in, and make sure to confirm exactly what services you're going to receive and the pricing beforehand. It also doesn't help to see that the receipts aren't itemized specifically to show the customer what services they received with add ons (if any). The service(s) on the receipts just reads "custom."

I was immediately met with such a calm and peaceful atmosphere as well as friendly staff. Jackie the owner was very kind and professional. I asked about massage services and what they offered and was introduced to her new business partner Pam Crawford. Pam has been a licensed Massage Therapist for over 15 years and specializes in stone, reflexology, deep tissue and a host of other certifications. Her experience and intuitive skill resulted in an amazing amount of pain relief from a shoulder injury that I had received 3 years ago. My only regret is that I have to leave the area before I can receive another treatment session! I will most definitely schedule another therapy session with her when I come back to the area again!
