Clear Behavioral Health was founded with one goal in mind—to help individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse live healthy and wonderful lives. It’s our approach, however, that really sets us apart. Clear set out to offer a totally new and highly individualized clinical experience. We offer a variety of mental health services and addiction treatment to address your individual needs, preferences, and goals. As part of our program, you are assigned a personal therapist who works directly with you throughout the duration of your treatment. Additionally, you receive support and guidance from your own case manager so that you may re-enter the world more confident and prepared. The combination of our empathetic staff and our comfortable facilities is the ideal foundation to support your first steps to long-lasting wellbeing.
Meet the Manager: Emily P.
Emily Pedersen is the Vice President of Operations for Clear Behavioral Health. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Master of Public Health degree with a certificate in health inequities from Johns Hopkins University. As a former educator with a strong professional background in public health research, Emily has extensive experience partnering with communities to improve health and educational outcomes. She has served as a teacher, team-lead, and professional curriculum developer for Baltimore City Public Schools as well as a senior research coordinator for the Johns Hopkins Department of Epidemiology. Emily is passionate about reducing disparities in health care. She finds nothing more rewarding than meeting with local practitioners, developing partnerships, solving problems, and increasing access to services, particularly for those in need of compassionate mental health treatment.
