First of all, when they came to my door pushing their product, the guy scribbled over the fact that it was a contract.So I couldn't see that, and then they hit me up later that I was locked in for a year at seventy dollars a month.And they only come once every three months to spray. And they don't do a very good job.Because my place is still overrun with spiders. But seventy dollars a month, and only getting sprayed every three months is flat out highway robbery. I asked if the products were natural and was told yes -- they even claimed they were chrysanthemum-based. That was a flat-out lie. After the service, I checked the product labels myself and found they were actually synthetic chemical pesticides -- nothing natural about them. They sprayed these chemicals inside my kitchen where my small child regularly drops food and eats it. The labels clearly say they should not be used in food-prep areas. Ever since, I've been uncomfortable in my own home, worried about my kids and the safety of our kitchen floor. To make matters worse, they signed me up for a membership without my knowledge or consent and charged me again the following month. When I called and expressed my frustration about being lied to and misled, they literally told me no -- they would not refund me and would still be charging me an early cancellation fee. No apology for my experience. No care to save face. This company lied to my face, put my family's health at risk, and then tried to scam me into ongoing charges. Dishonest, unsafe, and predatory. Discussed his service and stated that my biggest concern here was packrats. He said no problem, we use a product called 'cilantra' which is a dehydrater. Ants were also on the list. I signed up for a $99 visit. Later that night, I reviewed the brief notepad-sized order sheet and much to my chagrin, found out that there was a commitment to 12 months. He discusses my concerns and says that they are out of rat traps. 22 Jul 25 15:30 - attempt to contact Jack but instead connect with their office in Gresham (?) Portland(?) Bend(?) (503) 912-5770. I discuss my concerns about the lack of traps with Kaitlyn(?) who tells me that Insight does not address packrat issues. In that case I tell her, I'd like to cancel my service since you won't be able to perform the services that I requested from the sales rep. She says no problem. I ask for an email from her stating my request and her company's willingness to cancel. She says she will text that to me. 22 Jul 25 16:45 - call and ask for Kaitlyn to see where my text is. Later that day, my Visa is charged $99 for an incomplete service. 24 Jul 25 09:10 - call again and after waiting on hold, I get to speak with Ethan, who transfers me to Isaac in Cust. Svc. I again tell my tale of woe and cover my concerns; a) packrats are the issue, b) was told by Kaitlyn that rats aren't in the service, c) either way, technician has no rat traps with him but I did receive an invoice the following day, and d) I wasn't told that I was signing up for a yearly policy. He makes multiple offers of a discount but I would still prefer to cancel due to these multiple red flags. He says no problem, we'll just cancel the policy. And we'll send out an email stating the same. As of 15:45, have not received email. 24 Jul 25 12:12 - receive email with certificate attached stating my contract is cancelled. Over the next couple of weeks, I speak with Insight about this situation....getting charged for a service that wasn't completed as stated by the sales rep. Each time, it turns into a circular conversation. I'm interested in either a refund of the service or have the rat traps dropped off/installed. I'm told that packrat service is different and costs more plus I already had a service and that's what I'm being charged for. And round and round we go. While I AM pleased and surprised that they would cancel the 'contract,' I think they could have done better. Soliciting in a clearly marked NO SOLICITING neighborhood. Bad reputation in surrounding neighborhoods, paid for one treatment that was okay, now can't cancel without hundreds of dollars, and NO services. I don't want their vehicles in the neighborhood, the police may be called. read more

I have to give a one star review. the customer service reps are nice, however they send people out to your home to solicit services, regardless of "No Soliciting" signs. Their sales person disregarded my kind attempts at refusing service and even though I told him I was in a hurry, he pressed me to sign up for an initial service, which to get him off my property, I agreed. Unfortunately, the lengthy paperwork he showed me was a contract. Knowing I would not have time to read it all, he urged me to sign for an initial service, which I did, so I could leave to pick up my child from school. He also led me to believe Insight is local to my area, which it is not. My fault for not reading, but he was quite misleading. I am giving a poor review because their sales people are bullies who trespass, and they refuse to work with you unless you retain their service. I feel this is a scam, and I am a sucker who is paying the price, literally. I am willing to pay the cancellation fee, though, because I do not want service from a company who is ok misleading you. read more
