Actiontoyman is a special kind of place. I spent two months working one day a week in Erie and was…read morelucky enough to discover this store during that time. This store is absolutely stacked with vintage collectibles ranging from Gundam Wing, Star Wars, Transformers, Toy Story, WWE, Dragonball Z, Sports Collectibles, Batman, Superman, and everything in between. The ground level is full of classic toys and even features a full blown comic room in the back while downstairs is the "discount" section offering a ton of toys below $8. Upstairs had a full game room along with a ton of other collectible toys as well. Not only was it a blast coming to ActionToyMan but the staff was super friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had throughout my visit. Although my trips to Erie might be done, I will 100% be returning in the future to check this store out again. If you live even remotely close to Erie you owe it to yourself to come and check this place out, but hey, don't take my work for it, check out Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkin's visiting this store on YouTube.

He called 3 weeks in a row to ask the owner to gather his unsold things. The first week the owner "wasn't there", the second week "he was out sick", and the third week my husband said he was coming to get his collectibles. Today he went to the store, the owner accused him of harassment, said my husband called his store "$hitty"(he did not), and then told him that he had already sold and paid my husband for his missing collectibles (he couldn't produce any proof that he had paid my husband for anything) Do not take your collectables here to sell. The guy is a liar. And I read through the other reviews and alot of people think he's rude too.

Hoping that a lot of people read this review and avoid the store!

I think this is the cutest little store. Absolutely perfect for gifts and goodies! It is clean,…read moreneat and full of inventory. With that being said, don't go in there if you don't think you can meet their standards of what a customer should be. Yesterday was the third time I have had problems with their employees. I am in my mid-twenties. I do not drive a BMW. I buy the majority of my wardrobe from Marshall's, so pretty much all last season. I carry a Coach purse, and work three jobs to afford nice things. I needed to pick up a gift for my friend and for my mother's friend. No one offered to help me, which was fine. I was perfectly capable of finding things on my own. I had settled on Vera Bradley blanket and Vera Bradley apron and was waiting to check out. The cashier was quite chatty with the lady in front of me, who was also taking advantage of the Vera sale. The employee offered her gift boxes and gift wrapping and took her time with each item. When it was my turn to check-out, I was prepared to accept the gift wrapping offer and pay whatever the additional fee was, even though I was pretty sure it was free. I mentioned to the cashier that these were both gifts for others, to which she responded "oh, that's nice!" She proceeded to throw my receipt in the bag without asking if I wanted it, and stuff the oversized throw into the too small bag which crushed the tiny Vera box that came with the apron. The bag didn't have handles so I maneuvered carrying it like groceries. I was never once offered anything that the lady prior to me was asked
