I am writing to recommend Christian Herrera of Sherrill Pest Control. We called Sherrill Pest…read moreControl for service, and Christian arrived the following day punctually at the scheduled time. In short order, he eradicated a significant wasp infestation very quickly, very efficiently - and my favorite - with finality. The wasps are definitely all gone! In fact, Christian spent more time answering my questions thoroughly and in a way I could easily understand than he actually spent completing the project. Yes, I believe the vendor should complete our assignment quickly, but for me, that's only half of our need. How did so many wasps attach their nests to our garage eaves (are we doing something unconsciously to attract them)? What kind of wasps are they? If I accidentally swat one of them in an involuntary response, will they swarm around and sting me mercilessly (yes, I'm nervous around those little buggers!)? "No Mr. Hawk, they're paper wasps. They're really comparatively docile unless you try to crush one especially immediately close to their nest, and then they'll respond according to their nature." "No Mr. Hawk, I don't need to put on a special suit. I have a solution and the appropriate means of application of that solution in my van to take care of this situation." "Yes Mr. Hawk, although it's not necessary, really, it's not necessary, I'll give you a couple seconds lead time to run into the house." I was being dramatic, and Christian accommodated me with a (professional!) smile. "No Mr. Hawk, paper wasps do not last for years and years. Their natural behavior is to create additional nests in proximity to the original queen's nest. The workers don't usually survive through winter, although the queen will search out a warmer spot, like inside your garage, to survive the colder months. She will begin again to reproduce next spring as the weather warms up, but you should not have to worry about these nests or the queen(s) after today." At that point, Christian looked at his spray can with confidence. The wasps are all gone! Now, it's your turn to call Sherrill Pest Control for answers to your pest questions!
