Remarkable Psychologist and Life Coach…read more During more than 30 years of running my own law practice, I have suffered through more than my share of personal, business and financial strains. Add in constant, agonizing back pain, and it shouldn't be surprising that I have sought therapeutic assistance and life guidance to weather the more difficult storms. While I have tried many practitioners during that time, with Dr. Michael Simpson, I finally found someone who optimizes both practices way beyond anyone I had previously encountered. He listens and responds to each issue in real-time, remembers everything you had discussed previously and seamlessly moves between Psychologist and Life Coach. His sessions are packed with strategies to deal with situations as well as avenues by which to improve your life relevant to your specific concerns. I look forward to them and bring a pen and paper to list the ideas, web sites, and/or thoughts that he provides to get me through the particular challenges I am facing and on to the next phase of my life. Notwithstanding my own resourcefulness, which is fairly extensive itself, he still constantly provides me with resources I had not thought of and/or had never heard about. As if that wasn't enough, within reason during his own busy schedule, he makes himself available to assist you through, particularly rough scenarios. With his attention to your particular life story, Dr. Simpson makes you feel like you are his only patient/client and it is clear from his extraordinary efforts, that he really cares about your success in life. He is at the top of his game and has been invaluable to me maintaining my quality of life through some extremely difficult times.

Full Circle Therapy is located in Weston Town Center…read more I have been searching for a therapist for what seems to be years on end. I've done virtual therapy and even therapy while I was in college but finding a therapist is an adventure all on it's own, especially finding a practice that takes insurance. After years of search and finally a lot of research when coming to a breaking point, I found Full Circle Therapy. Their website was super easy to navigate with a lot of therapists and their profiles which you can look through to see if there's one that might seem like a right fit for you. To inquire, I ended up emailing directly on their website and had a pretty prompt response after asking if they took my insurance and were accepting new patients. The process was easy and simple and after finding a therapist that I thought was the right match for me and seeing their availability, I was scheduled right away. The ease of this was a breath of fresh air after years of unsuccessful online therapy appointments and trying to find a therapist near me to talk to. When I finally made it to my initial appointment, it wasn't too hard to find their office. They are located on the second floor in the back of one of the buildings in the plaza. The waiting area is comfy and cozy with some chairs and even a couch to wait on. After going to this office for some sessions weekly, I can say that Full Circle Therapy has really come at a great time in my life and I couldn't be more thankful for this office and my therapist. Looking forward to having full circle moments from this office!

Neurobehavioral Institute (NBI) changed my life. I was…read morediagnosed with OCD at 12, and over time it became increasingly severe until it took over my life. I was consumed by fear and spent my days locked in my room, trapped in exhausting OCD rituals of compulsive cleaning and showering. Before NBI, I spent nearly my entire days trapped in the vicious cycle of OCD, locked in my room and consumed by compulsive cleaning, showering, and contamination fears. Seeking treatment was very difficult, as I was turned away from multiple OCD treatment programs due to the complexity of my case -- blindness combined with severe OCD. NBI was the one place willing to take on that challenge and support me fully. I arrived with many contamination fears, but my biggest fear of all was using my white cane to navigate the world. Although treatment was the most difficult thing I've ever done, it was also the most rewarding because I took my life back from OCD. I gained a new lease on life, along with freedom and confidence. Through months of ERP therapy, I learned how to combat OCD and discovered that I am capable of facing and conquering my fears. Today, although OCD is still present, it is much quieter and no longer controls my life. I am living fully -- riding horses, boxing, volunteering at church, cooking, babysitting, rowing, and doing things I once avoided. My white cane is now my best friend, and I have accepted and embraced my blindness. I now share hope through my writing and advocacy work with the BBS community. I am deeply grateful to NBI. When others were unwilling to help due to the complexity of my case, NBI said yes. Dr. Katie Moritz, thank you for taking a leap of faith with me. I truly never believed overcoming OCD was possible. At a point when I was close to giving up, I found NBI -- and it changed my life. I will be forever thankful.

Boy have I been looking forward to this. I have bdd, ocd and fnd. I came here after a wilderness…read moretherapy experience against my will. I was extremely traumatized coming out of that place and the notion that I was ready for intense ocd treatment is honestly laughable. I am currently on my road to recovery in spite of my experience here. I was extremely traumatized coming out of wilderness and all I wanted was to go home to rest and see my family. Not one person had the guts to stick up for me and say why are we keeping this kid here. We're not helping him and he can't tolerate exposures so they made me feel like the bad guy for doing whatever I could to get out. There is a sinister side to this industry which includes this institution. Here, whoever is reading this. I'll save you a lot of money to deal with ocd. Lean into your ocd fears at a rate which isn't too overwhelming. Make sure you can stay mentally present for exposures without 'tapping out'. If you have bdd, come here if you want to get worse. Although bdd is a ocd related disorder, treating it as any variant of ocd is malpractice. OCD recovery is possible, rest assured. It does not require whatever absurd price this place charges. I am one of the victims of people swept under the rug and never talked about again. There is a lot of pain I have associated with that place. Pain I'm unfortunately still resolving. Dr moritz is very smart but her capacity for manipulation is high so just be conscientious of that. This place is capable of helping ocd with one big caveat of proceed with caution. They are willing to keep people they can't help, me being an example. This is a for profit industry which is still in its infancy. I was threatened with being sent somewhere to essentially lock me away when I was breaking down from pain, fear, and exhaustion. This place can help, I will admit to not invalidate the rest of my argument but do not treat there word as biblical and know that they are willing to make moral concessions.
