I have be seeing Dr. Quintas since the unexpected death of my father this past January. I believe that everyone has the perfect match for therapy. Therapy doesn't mean you're crazy in any manner. It's actually the opposite. A patient has to be as honest as possible in-order to get the best help and results. I have stopped needing Dr. Quintas months ago because she did such a good job of sorting out my feelings but I found that by continuing to see her has helped me in so many other areas of my life that I continue to see her. It's like working out your body but for your mind. Dr. Quintas was my perfect match. She will tell you like it is and is open and honest. Sometimes that can be uncomfortable but it's also painful to add a few pounds to your weights when working out or running a bit further then usual. Dr. Quintas is that great workout trainer but for your brain and soul. I am so lucky to have found her and I feel pretty good about myself these days. Dr. Quintas is patient, has a great memory and can easily peel you apart to get at the root causes of whatever issue you might have. You just have to be honest. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Quintas. Onto other reviews. I always read reviews and then sometimes read the reviewer's reviews just to get a feel of why they would rate someone or someplace 1 or 5 stars. I suggest you do the same when reviewing anyone or place you are going to see, especially if it is something that can change your life like a Doctor. If you have a bad experience in a restaurant, that's one thing but at any Doctor's office, that's another. Once you start reviewing reviewers, you will start to learn more then you can imagine. You will see patterns emerge. When someone can only mostly rate something or someone 1 or 5 stars, there is no middle ground. Those reviews can't be trusted as the review is not about the person or place that is being reviewed, it's about them. Those negative reviews need to be read and I take the few extra moments to look up the reviewer to make up my own mind whether its valid or not. My 5 stars is for Dr. Quintas, not for me. If Dr. Quintas, a kind gentle soul is calling the police, uh......then she had a valid reason to do so. I don't know of the circumstances in any manner but calling Doctor Quintas "An old hag" is not a review of Doctor Quintas, it's an insite into the mind of the reviewer. I just know Dr. Quintas as I have been seeing her for over 6 months and she does not deserve to be called that and Yelp should be ashamed of allowing such a review. As far as the "Not rather to give the details" review without explanation doesn't constitute a review. What good does that review do anyone? My point, don't just judge a person or place by the stars given. Read some of the reviews and then pick a few reviewers and see if they have a pattern. This is most important when you only see a few ratings. Most people don't want to review Doctors or Therapist out of some fear that the whole world will know but no one is knocking on my door. Therapist can only help people who are determined to get better. A GOOD therapist won't tell you what you want to hear, they will tell you what you don't want to hear and you have to either believe and trust them or go find a bad therapist that will justify your actions no matter what. You cannot expect them to just fix you. You have to participate. I am off my soapbox! Speak to Dr. Quintas about your particular issue and see if she can help you. she did me and so much more!

My daughter has general developmental delay, and when I started to take her to this office (at 1 year and 2 months old), she couldn't keep her head up unless she was completely supported, she was extremely irritable (did not handle transitions well), and did not focus her vision on anything at all, not even my face. She had been receiving physical, occupational, and speech therapy since she was 7 months old, but progress had been very slow. When I got to Neotherapy, I received a consultation with Dr. Villegas about my daughter. He explained that neurofeedback would enable my daughter to absorb the work from her other therapies much more quickly. That is exactly what has happened. She has continued to receive traditional therapies in addition to neurofeedback and has progressed more quickly than before. She now lifts up her head, open her eyes and focuses on objects a lot more than before. She's more alert and her irritability has almost completely disappeared. In addition to the benefits of the therapy itself, I really enjoy being there. Monica and Angela are wonderful and make me feel at home every time I go. I feel that my daughter is loved there, and that makes all the difference. Monica (the technician) is also very open with what she does, involves me in my daughter's treatment and answers any questions I have. She receives training at least twice a year in national conventions, and she always comes back with new ideas that she thinks of how to apply to my daughter's treatment. I feel respected and involved, and that means a lot to me.

Also they do charge no show fees! $150 I came in for depression and anxiety and had trouble sleeping, but she kept insisting that I try aderall on top of the antidepressant. For sleep I was prescribed doxepin for a while but that didn't work too well, then she moved to abilify (an antipsychotic usually prescribed for schizophrenia, not sleep) it gave me akathisia and anxiety (common side effects of abilify.) Be careful if you're a younger woman, a male assistant would not stop hitting on me and asking me about my relationship status, extending our conversations, when I was extremely depressed and needed help. Edit: Had an appointment with her (my final one, after she said that I'm going to need to find another provider because she wouldn't treat me anymore after seeing this review.) She was rude, it seemed like she was intentionally late to the meeting and putting it off because she was mad at me for my review. She hung up at the beginning of the call, before rejoining again. She stuck to her guns, not admitting any fault for any of the actions of her and her practice.

Addiction to drugs - always remembering that alcohol is a drug, is an ongoing problem in our country and GreenLife IOP is doing its part to help end the problem in our small corner of the world. Most of our clients are extraordinary people living regular lives - First responder, nurses, doctors, barbers, college professors, students, stay-at-homme moms, lawyers, just about every job and profession you can think of. He does offer the option of herbal supplements but understands that these don't always work for everyone and will tirelessly work with you to find the proper medication(s) to help you.
