Oh Innovation, it was love at first sight. This place was packed when we went and I know why! Luckily we stalked out some seats at the bar and got to really research our flight picks. The flight includes 5 of any beers you want---and they have a TON. OF. BEERS. Honestly, the brews taste like the earth and pine and camping and...nature. In the best way. I don't really know how to describe it. It's just damn good. I had quite a few so I really couldn't tell you a favorite. I don't remember! The two that opened this place have live music and cool food trucks all the time---they are doing a fantastic job. Living my dream job. I can not wait to get back here. Definitely my kind of place (and the flight was like 8 bucks I think...maybe even less. Such a great deal.) read more

Great beer and atmosphere, the bronco burger at the food truck was killer, I'm from Florida and would come back to NC just for this place, will definitely be back! read more

Such a great find! If you are in the area this is a must stop! The guy behind the bar was super friendly. The beer was excellent. The phat chance amber is the best. Good atmosphere and we ate at a local food truck parked outside for dinner. Great burger and tacos. Overall an A+ experience. read more

Back when I was still in Highschool my class came here to learn about local business for some entrepreneurial thing my economics class was doing. Food is great, I don't know about the beer so I can't really give much higher than a four but it's a cool place. read more

I'm not much of a beer drinker but when I've gone to Innovation Brewing; I tend to find something that I enjoy.

Have been going to Innovation for 5 1/2 years and our favorite brewery. We drive from Asheville mainly for Circumnavigation which is the best double IPA around. My husbands favorite. Went to the Dillsboro location today for the last time. I was told I could get a taste as I am not an IPA person. Ordered a beer and then asked for a taste of something else and was told they are out of taster glasses. I could understand if they had a line waiting to order but the bartenders were just walking around at the time with no one to serve. I know if I wanted a good tip I would have washed a glass if a customer asked for a taste. And to top it off the next person in line was able to get a taste of something. So we took our growler to the OG the Sylvia location and were served as customers should be. I guess they keep the best bartenders at the OG. Got a beer and the growler filled. So done with Dillsboro. Only going to Sylvia from now on. Hopefully they can hold a class and teach the new bartenders how keep customers coming back. read more

I don't like most beers and I hate IPAs. Most trips to breweries are a struggle because of this, but not here! Such a great selection. And 2 sours on rotation! What?!?! Just the fact that I found 5 beers on the menu that sounded appealing was a feat. But then to enjoy all of them was icing on the cake! The venue itself is spacious and has food. So that's another plus. Love this place. read more

I will start with the only good thing about this place the food truck outside the food was amazing and the people in the truck were great but there beer tasted watery with syrup flavoring I will not go back and do not suggest anyone does go unless you go for the food truck out in there parking lot read more

Great place! Drink the amazing beer then get a burger from the food truck in the beer garden and prepare for pure happiness.

Really, really good beer. Atmosphere is great too. And the bartender was super helpful.

Great location by the river. Located downtown with fun shops and views of the mountains. Large outdoor deck and very cool vibe. Food truck was excellent and huge selection of tasty, unique beers. There's something for everyone. Darts in the back and games available to play at your table. Prices are good and you can make your own customized flight displayed on a log tray. Lots of dogs outside and merchandise to purchase. read more

Great beer, great service and great vibe! Try the Soulvation IPA or the Cucumber- Mint Saison!

Great local brewery. Connected to Cosmic Carryout with awesome burgers. Visit every time we are in town.

What's not to like? Great bartender, big crowd (on a Monday!!), great ambiance, wouldn't change a thing. They brew a LOT of beers, lights, ciders, sours, but SHINE with the variety of IPA's. Full bodied beers. Bartender is a BIG beer fan and knows about hops. Friendly, great locals, kid friendly (they brew sodas too!)- we want to move next door. Seriously. No TV's to distract, free fast wifi, great food trucks outside- heavenly. read more

Great beer and I love supporting the locals, had such a blast tasting all the beers during Taste Of Sylva... I will be back

Love this place. Brewery combined with the Cosmo Takeout cart outside and you can easily lose a few hours here. Amazing seasonal brews, for fall get the Pumpkin Chai-5. Will come back again and again. read more

Lots of great hand made beers. Awesome burgers from the food truck. Cool people to hang out with.

Very cool place. Better for small groups. A wide variety of really good craft beers. My personal favorite is the Midnight Ryeder double IPA.

Top five breweries I've ever been to. Amazing standard beers plus a rotating selection of varying small batches. Everything from the best beer I've ever had to funky sours. Great business model that supports experimental recipes and the best burger in town from Cosmic Carryout food cart. read more

My favorite place in the world! Innovations is a very sophisticated and welcoming brewery. Me and my girlfriends love the patio at night, the landscaping is amazing! The service is great, we love you Kevin! read more

Best place in town to drink and socialize. Each night usually live music or trivia or event. Many options and great great beer! Food truck here is amazing...looks kinda sketchy but good burgers and fries! They are pretty strict and cut you off prematurely (sometimes cap drinks based on your tab). read more

Great brewery...love their beers. Always something new to try. LOVE Sylva where it's located. Great time/ambience.....

Amazing brewery. We tasted about 6 beers - ALL of them were great (not a trace of that 'magic marker' taste some microbreweries have when brewing small batches and trying to get it right) but my favorites were the Gingerbread Brown, Peach-a-Peno, and the Breakfast Stout. Great vibe, great owners, great crowd. There was a food truck just outside the bar on a Saturday night and a lot of people ate at the bar and at tables inside. Make this a 'must' on your list of places to go in Sylva. I can't wait to go back. read more

Love Innovation. Great beers, great outdoor seating area, and the burgers at the Cosmic food truck parked outside are hard to beat. This is one of our favorite hang out spots when we're in town. They have a great selection of beers, plenty of IPA's, Sours and dark malty Stouts. read more

Great atmosphere and location for a brewery. The beer is A-ok if you find one that you like. Everyone has different tastes. I am not a big fan of IPAs or saisons so that rules out a few, but overall the selection is vast. As far as regional breweries, its mediocre. For Sylva, its great. read more

These guys are awesome. Been going there for years and recently had them provide beers for our daughter's wedding reception for 180 people including lots of California beer geeks. Kevin was great throughout the whole process from beer selection to actually serving at the party with a 6 tap jockey box. Huge hit and one of the most talked about parts of the wedding. If you have a special event in the area Innovation should be on the top of your list. Thanks again! read more

Great craft brew. Guys behind the bar were pretty cool about tasting/samples , etc. Didn't try any food but they had a food truck or 2 outside. Sue liked their (very) ginger ale. read more

My fiance and I stopped here while traveling along the Blue Ridge Pkwy. We had just got engaged and wanted to celebrate. We had a few drinks and grabbed some food from the little food truck, sat outside in the sun, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We got a couple growlers and headed on to our destination. This is an excellent place to stop if you're in the area. Nice, friendly staff, and great beer :) read more
