Every time I go, I find another fabulous beer. But the best is that I can tell one of the bartenders what beer I have liked there before and they can recommend another that I will probably like. Have been going to Innovation for 5 1/2 years and our favorite brewery. We drive from Asheville mainly for Circumnavigation which is the best double IPA around. My husbands favorite. Went to the Dillsboro location today for the last time. I was told I could get a taste as I am not an IPA person. Ordered a beer and then asked for a taste of something else and was told they are out of taster glasses. I could understand if they had a line waiting to order but the bartenders were just walking around at the time with no one to serve. I know if I wanted a good tip I would have washed a glass if a customer asked for a taste. And to top it off the next person in line was able to get a taste of something. So we took our growler to the OG the Sylvia location and were served as customers should be. I guess they keep the best bartenders at the OG. Got a beer and the growler filled. So done with Dillsboro. Only going to Sylvia from now on. Hopefully they can hold a class and teach the new bartenders how keep customers coming back. read more

I don't like most beers and I hate IPAs. Most trips to breweries are a struggle because of this, but not here! Such a great selection. And 2 sours on rotation! What?!?! Just the fact that I found 5 beers on the menu that sounded appealing was a feat. But then to enjoy all of them was icing on the cake! The venue itself is spacious and has food. Oh Innovation, it was love at first sight. This place was packed when we went and I know why! Luckily we stalked out some seats at the bar and got to really research our flight picks. The flight includes 5 of any beers you want---and they have a TON. OF. BEERS. Honestly, the brews taste like the earth and pine and camping and...nature. In the best way. I don't really know how to describe it. It's just damn good. I had quite a few so I really couldn't tell you a favorite. I don't remember! The two that opened this place have live music and cool food trucks all the time---they are doing a fantastic job. Living my dream job. I can not wait to get back here. Great location by the river. Located downtown with fun shops and views of the mountains. Large outdoor deck and very cool vibe. Food truck was excellent and huge selection of tasty, unique beers. There's something for everyone. Darts in the back and games available to play at your table. Prices are good and you can make your own customized flight displayed on a log tray. What's not to like? Great bartender, big crowd (on a Monday!!), great ambiance, wouldn't change a thing. They brew a LOT of beers, lights, ciders, sours, but SHINE with the variety of IPA's. Full bodied beers. Bartender is a BIG beer fan and knows about hops. Friendly, great locals, kid friendly (they brew sodas too!)- we want to move next door. Seriously. Best place in town to drink and socialize. Each night usually live music or trivia or event. Many options and great great beer! Food truck here is amazing...looks kinda sketchy but good burgers and fries! They are pretty strict and cut you off prematurely (sometimes cap drinks based on your tab). read more

Very cool place. Better for small groups. A wide variety of really good craft beers. My personal favorite is the Midnight Ryeder double IPA.

These guys are awesome. Been going there for years and recently had them provide beers for our daughter's wedding reception for 180 people including lots of California beer geeks. Kevin was great throughout the whole process from beer selection to actually serving at the party with a 6 tap jockey box. Huge hit and one of the most talked about parts of the wedding. Amazing brewery. We tasted about 6 beers - ALL of them were great (not a trace of that 'magic marker' taste some microbreweries have when brewing small batches and trying to get it right) but my favorites were the Gingerbread Brown, Peach-a-Peno, and the Breakfast Stout. Great vibe, great owners, great crowd. There was a food truck just outside the bar on a Saturday night and a lot of people ate at the bar and at tables inside. Make this a 'must' on your list of places to go in Sylva. I can't wait to go back. read more

Great atmosphere and location for a brewery. The beer is A-ok if you find one that you like. Everyone has different tastes. I am not a big fan of IPAs or saisons so that rules out a few, but overall the selection is vast. As far as regional breweries, its mediocre. For Sylva, its great. read more

My fiance and I stopped here while traveling along the Blue Ridge Pkwy. We had just got engaged and wanted to celebrate. We had a few drinks and grabbed some food from the little food truck, sat outside in the sun, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We got a couple growlers and headed on to our destination.
