In all my years, I have dealt with many different types of businesses. Some were reputable, some knew maybe half of what they claimed and others were just plain scam artists. Luckily, I came across Gabriel and Innovate Home Renovation. Gabriel met with me to discuss the project parameters, which included drywall patching a medicine cabinet hole and installing a new backsplash and porcelain basin sink. During the meeting, he pointed out things I did not take into account, both on the current project and future one's as well, which may have been costly to us. The quote he sent was reasonable; however, I decided to do part of the project myself, because I am retired and love saving money, which included removing the old backsplash and sink, along with disposing of the debris. Gabriel did not have any issues with my decision, as most companies would, because of the size of the project. He arrived in a timely manner, at 9:30 a.m., as per my request and got right to work. He taped off and protected the work area, including my crappy garage floor. The work he did was beautiful. On the second day of the project, he informed me as to issues with items I purchased, which of course were recommended on the Lowe's website when buying the sink. Turns out the faucet, drain and rubber gasket, would not fit that particular sink. At my wits end, Gabriel did research and ordered the parts from Amazon to install the faucet, during which time he also discovered an issue with the type of sink and attaching it to the wall, which could have been a major disaster later on down the road. I had to return the other two pieces. Gabriel had to purchase the P-Trap for the sink and did not try and upcharge me for his extra time, trip fees to Lowe's (twice), or the third day it took to finish a two day project. I am very happy with the outcome and with Gabriel and his company. We will be using him as our go to handyman from here on out. Thank you Gabriel for your professionalism and excellent workmanship. read more
