Randi is an incredible bodyworker. She is attentive, patient, and highly skilled. Every time I receive work from her I feel so much better after the visit. If you are looking for an excellent bodyworker in Ocean Park, definitely reach out to Randi! read more

Ive been getting massages and physical therapy and i can confidently say randi is the best therapist i have ever had work on my body. She is able to assess and fix problems at the root cause. Highly recommend read more

I found Randi through Yelp and couldn't agree more with the other reviews. I had 3 problems that I needed help with. 1. a TMJ issue, 2. degenerated disks in my neck that made turning my head painful, and 3. a throat spasm that made eating difficult at times. After about 3 months seeing Randi once a week for 90 minutes, the TMJ pain is gone, the neck pain is mostly gone, and the throat spasm is much improved. The degenerated disk pain had been around for several years and had not responded to 2 kinds of Chiro, acupuncture, physical therapy, cortisone injections, and doctors said it was not operable. Yet with Randi's help, it is no longer significantly limiting my activities. Beyond these 3 issues, Randi has also worked to open up, create space, and relieve stress. She uses a variety of techniques and I strongly recommend her to anyone needing help with body issues. In addition, she is the nicest person and is fully focused on helping you. Her rates are reasonable and she has packages of hours that can be purchased in addition to individual sessions. She is located on Van Ness at Broadway, but I always find free parking nearby on Gough or Franklin. read more

I recently got a sports movement integration session from Randi and the results of this session were invaluable to making a full recovery and increasing my effectiveness as an athlete. I arrived thinking I just needed to address the pain I could feel in my shoulder, which after the session there was virtually no tightness and significantly less pain, but I left with something even more important: a deeper understanding and awareness of what is going on in my body. I feel as if I am entering a new phase of a more precise and powerful movement in my sport, and life. And, how I know this is the real deal is days later, I can still feel the effects of the session integrating and influencing my daily movement. read more

Randi is AMAZING! She helped my son and I after a very long labor and emergency c-section. I literally couldn't move and it was so frustrating because I wanted/needed to be there for my newborn. Within in the first 10 minutes of the session I started to release and my range of motion expanded. My milk actually ended up coming in after working with her and increased during subsequent sessions. I felt relaxed, present, and in my body. I was able to thrive during that important (and crazy hard) time. My son was very comfortable with her, (she's great engaging little ones and making them feel comfortable), his gas pains subsided and his sleep improved. She gave us a bunch of really good exercises to support his development and help him with his tongue tie too. If you've just given birth or are about to, I highly recommend Randi to support you and our little one through the process - whether you've got something acute going on, or simply looking for a tune up and self-care. read more

I hadn't had a massage in two years. My shoulders had numbness and electric nervy sensations. I wasn't in good shape. Randi did a thorough assessment and spent time working the areas I requested, applying the perfect amount of pleasure. When I walked out of there, the numbness and tingling were gone and my neck felt more erect. She is clearly very skilled and experienced. I would recommend her wholeheartedly. read more

After two trigger point sessions with Randi, the tightness in my overworked (I play guitar) arm, hand, and shoulder was relieved! She does an initial assessment of how you walk and stand to get a better understanding on what treatment to pursue. She has an intuitive gift to connect with her client as well as wonderful technical skills. read more

Randi is now my hero. After living with come-and-go pain in my hamstrings for almost a year, and getting it treated by everything from Rolfing to Acupuncture with minimal results, Randi gave me relief that lasted over a month with just one bodywork session. I had already been seeing her for CranioSacral Therapy, which blew my mind every single time. It really took me into an altered state in a way that no other bodywork ever has. She is astoundingly gifted. At the beginning of every session she would spend a good few minutes reading my body, and use that information to intuit exactly what I needed done. I always leave feeling like a new person. read more

Randi - is extraordinary! I started seeing her in the early stages of IVF treatment (in lieu of acupuncture). She has this magical touch and healing energy that is hard for me to put into words, and I always come away feeling relaxed and most energized after her treatments. I'm happy to say after 4 weeks 2x a week, I'm pregnant. And I continue to visit Randi 1x a moth for follow up care during my pregnancy. I'm so thankful to have her in my life! read more

Randi is more than a masseuse, she is a healer. I feel when you go for a standard "massage" it feels good while you're there but it quickly wears off later. When I'm with Randi I feel like she is making long-term improvements to my heath. She does not only massage but cranial sacral work which is extremely relaxing and has a lot of long term benefits. Randi dives in deep and figures out what else is going on from a holistic standpoint and in some ways she is part time psychiatrist/body healer. Not only is Randi a talented healer but she's also just a great person who really cares about her clientele and will go the extra mile to help them in anyway that she can. I highly recommend going to Randi for regular tuneup and you'll be happy that you did. read more

My neck is often tight and I just need a lot of bodywork to keep it happy and out of pain. I get a lot of massages and I loved my session with Randi. She is really kind and warm and I felt she really listened to my needs. She did some deep massage work to help massage out the knots and she also did some cranio-sacral therapy to balance things too. I left her office feeling so relaxed and happy. read more

Randi's skill and intuition have been indispensable to my quickly changing body over the past 5 months, during which I was pregnant, gave birth and am now hauling around a 14 lb bundle of joy for many hours a day. I first saw Randi (on recommendation from another bodyworker) for craniosacral sessions when I was nearly 8 mos pregnant. My sacrum was killing me, and her gentle, yet effective technique helped resolve the issue in just a few sessions. She also made sure I was totally comfortable on the massage table throughout her sessions, which is no easy feat in the third trimester. Now Randi is helping relief the postpartum tension in my upper back and neck, and I've gotten to experience her range of techniques. The combination of focused deep tissue and craniosacral work is just what many new moms need. I always leave Randi's table feeling well-cared for and so much better than I did walking into her room. As an acupuncturist myself, I have recommended Randi to friends and patients alike with the utmost confidence. She's a gem! read more

If you are looking for a superb masseuse, you can stop your search here. Randi is way more than just a masseuse, she is a body work wizard. She has all sorts of body work techniques that made me feel better. She looks at the entire body to check alignment before she does anything. I went in with hip pain and she not only did she work on my hips but she also found that I was holding one of my shoulders higher than the other which was contributing to my hip pain. Walking into her office I felt like a bundle of stress and walking out I felt 5 pounds lighters AND a few inches taller. If you are looking for permanent health solutions, go see Randi! I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you Randi for sharing your wisdom. I can't wait for my next visit. read more

Randi was wonderful! She helped my newborn child with her mouth and body when we had trouble breastfeeding. She has a gift with babies and is very gentle and through very subtle adjustments (she used very light touch - it was nothing rough or hard!) we saw both immediate and lasting results. This was a very hard time for me personally and Randi was incredibly giving and nurturing in her approach. I also went to see her for craniosacral work for myself and that was fantastic too. She is very talented and I recommend her wholeheartedly! read more

Randi is an amazing practitioner! I discovered her when my jaw was so tight from grinding my teeth as I was in the grieving process of losing my mother. I tried a number of other things before realizing cranio-sacral could help. The relief I found with her treatments was profound. I highly recommend her and craniotomy-sacral to anyone who might be wondering if it could serve you. read more

I have been seeing Randi for bodywork for years, and she is the best. She's helped me with everything from general tension to migraines to ankle pain. Since in-person bodywork is not possible right now while we are sheltering in place, I scheduled an online "chill zone" session with her that was a combination of guided meditation and energy work. It was very restorative and relaxing. I could not recommend Randi more highly! read more

Randy is amazing. This is not your run of the mill Swedish-style light touch massage, this is bodywork. Randi has helped me with everything from relief from clenching my jaw/grinding my teeth, hip and spine alignment, and cranial sacral bone work to relieve pain/stress/tension. She gets deep into tissue to resolve the root of the problem. She seems to be more in-tune with my body than I am ;-) and I feel like she's my partner in my wellness plan. I highly recommend Randi to anyone who wants serious, deep tissue bodywork! read more

I returned to Innerwave yesterday for my first session during the pandemic. I felt completely comfortable with Randi and had a great session as always. Randi was very conscientious about wearing protective gear. She wore scrubs and 2 masks as well as hand and arm protection. I kept my mask on the whole time. Her office was extremely clean as usual. I didn't encounter any other people in the office. Of course, I could have stayed home and eliminated any risk but I felt the issues I was having, as well as the measures taken, were worth the potential risk. Randi is excellent at what she does. This is not a massage, but a true body work session that focuses on your specific areas of need. I completely recommend her work and professionalism. read more

Randi Kofsky is one of a kind. I have had several appointments with her and never have two treatments been the same. It's like she has this ability to read the muscles, tissues and energy in your body in the moment and respond to your body's needs with her miraculous healing touch and intuitive guidance. I can't say enough great things. Go see RAndi NOW and your body, mind and spirit will thank you. read more

Randi is truly a gifted and intuitive bodyworker. I have had tons of massage and bodywork and Randi stands out as one of the best. I had asked for a cranio-sacral session with her, and I really appreciate that she instead assessed what my body actually needed at the moment, which turned out to be some gentle holds, working on a much deeper level. You can feel her sensitivity and her caring through her touch. I can't recommend her highly enough. I felt a huge difference after her session. read more

I've had issues with my feet for most of my life. At the very first appointment, Randi tapped into that and made deep mind-body observations that hit home. I was so impressed. She sees far beyond just the body and helps you understand why something might be happening. She's really gifted and easy to work with. At the start of the appointment, she did this cool assessment to get a feel for my body and its mobility. I instantly felt comfortable with her. She manipulates the body in such a way that you can tell she truly understands how it works and moves. Bonus, she's at a beautiful and calming location on Van Ness near Russian Hill. read more

Randi is an amazing healer! When I was pregnant with my twin girls, she helped to restore balance in my aching body and release anxiety associated with the complications in my pregnancy. Postpartum she worked her magic to bring me back to feeling like myself again. Highly recommend Randi! read more

I have had many massage therapist over the years and Randi is one of the best I have found. I always 'float' out of her office after each massage. Whatever my body needs when I see her, it gets. Randi Is extremely tuned into my body each time, and I can feel the present and intuitive way she is working with me. I feel she has "healing hands." Her touch is strong, grounding, and calming. She does very slow massage strokes which integrate all parts of my body so I leave I feel rooted in my body. I can't recommend Randi enough. read more

Randi is a true healer. I have been to dozens of massage practitioners and this one is the best. Keep going back to feel good without drugs. Also, try out the Thai foot massage for an extra treat. read more

I would never miss a visit with Randi when I visit San Francisco. This last visit, I felt fine before but had no idea how stressed out I really was. As I laid on the table, I felt myself processing all kinds of upsets and unresolved conflicts. When I got off the table, it was as if I had left them behind. Randi is head and heart. Her commitment to this work is deep. I have watched her unwavering commitment to the work for over twenty years. In a market so saturated (in a good way) with healers, it's hard to stand out, but Randi does. If you're struggling with anything, headaches, stress, or anything more or less serious, I say, "why not give her a try?" read more

My (75 year old) mother fell and broke her pelvis last summer. She has mentioned residual pain since the injury and doctor's 'clearing her'. Having had my own amazing experience working with Randi, I booked a bodywork appointment for my mom for while she was visiting me this April. My mom could not stop talking about how great she felt for the rest of her stay! She was marveling how the pain was gone after being her 'constant companion' and something she had learned to 'accept was always going to be that way'! I HIGHLY recommend Randi for anyone with residual pain post injury! read more

Add more stars!!! I am a massage therapist and I can tell you with my years of experience getting regular bodywork and i'm picky! Randi is an amazing true professional! As a runner and CrossFitter, I've had Randi work on several pains and strains I've had in my muscles and joints. I always come away from her massages feeling much better -- and knowing a little bit more about my body, too. Randi is incredibly knowledgeable about anatomy and the many systems of the body, and with just a little input from me, she zeroes right in on the area(s) that need the most work. Sometimes they aren't even areas I thought needed attention! She's a good listener. She reads your body and what's going on with it, and gets working on what needs it the most. I definitely recommend her! read more

As good as it gets, had a 60 minute session with Randi and I was blown away by the kind of relief I had with tension and even some anxiety. Randi provided a consultation where she asked direct questions and left me clear she was there to address my concerns. I was floating after. There was no doubt that I was in the presence of a healer and a skillful one at that. And she was a wizard with my pesky back pain. Thank you Randi! read more

I have no words to describe this experience! Walking into this therapy on a whim and because Randi is such a pleasure to be acquainted with, I walked away, simply amazed. Never feeling quite "centered" and with frequent balance issues and bouts of vertigo, I had given up on the idea of feeling "whole". Feeling "whole" is exactly how I felt after spending 90 minutes with Randi. All I can say is: People! You have got to experience Cranial Sacral Therapy with this gifted and talented woman. Do yourself and your body a favor. read more

I can't give Rani enough stars--I'm not very woo-woo but I can earnestly say that she's magic. I'm very picky about body work and have been to many massage therapists in the Bay Area over the years and she's definitely the best. Her intuition on exactly what my body needs is unparalleled, whether it's deep tissue work to release adhesion/address pain or more gentle cranial-sacral therapy. I always leave feeling relaxed and centered. Plus she's a fantastic human being who cares deeply about her clients. I've recommended her to many friends who feel the same. read more

I'm a 58-year old woman and I have a lifetime of accumulated aches and stresses. I started working with Randi in early 2010 when I began getting more exercise and eating better in an effort to get more fit/healthy. I was looking for a massage therapist who could relax my slowly changing body and help me become more aware of my mind/body connection. I was so lucky to find Randi - she's patient, understanding, gentle, calm, strong, intuitive, and caring. She takes time at the beginning of each session to check-in with me about what's going on in my life and whether I have any particular physical problem areas. And then she gives me just the massage I need! I would recommend Randi to anyone, with no hesitation. read more

Randi has the ability to make time stop! The outside world of stress and commitments melts away during a session with her. I appreciate that she takes a thorough assessment before starting her session and looks for changes after the healing session. I highly recommend her if you are in a funk, have some pain or tension, or just need an opportunity to realign yourself!! read more

I am 27 weeks pregnant with my third child and was having trouble with sciatica pain. I have had many professional massages over the years, and while relaxing, have found that the relief never lasts. My experience with Randi was different. Not only was it amazingly soothing, but she was very attuned to where the pain was in my body and was able to release the tension. The results were amazing and I am pain-free a week later! I plan on visiting her for the remainder of my pregnancy and beyond! Highly recommend her, and very lucky to have found her! read more
