I started using this pharmacy a few months ago, and they were good at first. However, over time,…read morethey've become lazy about filling prescriptions and have started giving illogical excuses. They also began delivering my medications to my mom's house, even though my grandma lives in a different location. As a family, we were going out of our way to deliver the medications, just being nice, but recently, things took a turn.
Today, my dad's doctor called in a prescription, and out of nowhere, the pharmacy owner, Mr. Atef (who isn't very professional in English), told the doctor that my dad had switched pharmacies--something my dad never did or even mentioned. When I called the pharmacy to inquire about it, the owner stuck to his story, claiming that my dad had switched pharmacies, which left my dad without his medication for two days. The pharmacy owner told the doctor this without any real confirmation, and now he's trying to argue with me, saying what he did was justified.
This pharmacy is terrible, and I will never go back. They have no professionalism. The staff doesn't speak proper English, and when I go in for my B12 shots, the owner doesn't even wear gloves. I will be pursuing legal action for the lies they've spread. The doctor prescribed 40 pills, but they only gave me 7, claiming my insurance only covers that amount. They didn't provide the rest and keep insisting they need a new prescription. I've been on this medication for over 30 years, and I've never experienced this before. It feels like they're asking for new prescriptions just so they can sell the rest of the medication under the table. On top of that, they're selling expired drinks and soaps on their shelves.
Nobody should have to deal with this. Because of these issues, you've lost 25 patients, and trust me, there will be reports filed. Dr. Atef, you need to go back to Egypt because that's exactly how things are done there--not here, not in the state we live in. You clearly don't have a clue about professional conduct, sir.
