I explained my needs for work on my neck and shoulders, and we decided on adding a quicker gloss over the rest of my body as well because I had booked more time that she needed to just work my neck. However, when you factor in the approximately 10 minutes at the beginning for undressing and preparation, and another 15 minutes at the end for getting dressed, the actual hands-on massage time appears to have been closer to 35 minutes, not 60. Additionally, when my husband was asked which areas needed the most attention, he specifically requested focus on his neck and shoulders. Unfortunately, he felt that the therapist spent the majority of the session working on other areas instead of addressing the areas he identified as problematic. Advertising a special for a 60-minute massage when the actual massage time is significantly shorter feels misleading and makes the promotion much less of a value than it appears.
