She also takes her time and isn't watching the clock like a lot of these other cookie cutter therapists, so when you pay for 60 or 90 minutes, you get the full 60/90 minutes. It is rare to find a therapist that is not only well versed in multiple styles of massage, but is also an expert in finding the right balance and style that works the best for your comfort and well-being. This is a bit of an odd, but honest review…read more I am giving 4 stars specifically for the lovely lady pictured. Celeste is a very talented massage therapist and my massage from her was one of the best I've ever had. I can't recommend her enough. With that said, and this will be the odd part of my review, I have to admit I had one of the worst "massages" ever. I went for the cranial sacral drainage massage (I think that what it was called) and it was the worst $80 I ever spent. There was something off the moment I met the person who performed this service. She was actually rather condescending to me in her attitude and didn't even explain anything to me about this type of "massage", even though I told her this is my first time doing this and I am not familiar with it. I can't even call it massage, but it felt more like torture. I was told to lie down on the table, and then she held my head suspended with her fingertips for an excruciatingly long time. Not 5, not 10, but I'd say a good 20 minutes my head was suspended like this and it was making me nauseous. Finally, I had to say this was too painful and making me feel sick. She put a pillow under my head, and then sat there for over 5 minutes not doing anything. So already 25 mins of my hour massage were gone and it didn't get better after that. From that point on, she squeezed my head very hard and finally I was at the point of irritation and asked if there was going to be any "massage". She got defensive and said, "don't you know anything about this type of massage?" and I said, "No, I already told you I didn't" and even then she didn't explain what she was doing, but instead I should research it myself because there's "tons of information out there". I wish right at that point I would have just got up and left. The very last 5 minutes, she gave me a few shoulder squeezes and rubbed my face a bit, but I still to this day have no idea what I was supposed to get out of that. Instead I went home and grabbed my migraine medicine because I could feel one coming on after that. I seriously think she was literally just messing with my head. (ha) This happened a while ago and I've been waiting to see if that woman is still there. I'm thinking she's not because I don't see that service offered anymore. So, despite that miserable experience, I still give this place 4 stars because of Celeste and I'm sure her other team members are talented as well. Thank you.
