We ordered a side of chips with aioli (turns out my partners burger came with a side of chips and my lamb wrap with a simple salad). So I sat down at aquablu reluctantly but was so very pleasantly surprised. Their service staff was all over the situation from finding us a table to coming over and checking how we were doing. They also kindly informed us there was a 30 min wait time on food that night which was absolutely fine as we were having a grand time enjoying the atmosphere fostered by the live music! And the food... I had a chicken breast and my partner had the salmon. Both were excellent, again to my surprise. The chicken was tender and well seasoned with a good side of vegies. The carrot cake we had for dessert was also enjoyable and a great way to finish off. The only negative was my mojito which came out in a ridiculously deceptive tall glass was a bit short on the rum but I certainly didn't need the rum that night to enjoy the dining experience!

We spent just over 50 for 2 adults and 1 eating child, which I thought for the food we got felt little pricy given the decor when we walked in, but then again we are at touristy spot and anywhere else would have costed more. And I loved the family vibe there which was wonderful. Portion was alright, the bruschetta was little small (and unfortunately taken the wrong order) but everything tasted great. Sounded funny but our favourite at least for our kid was the buttery toast which really was fluffy and great. Staffs were friendly, and you know this is really the friendly neighbourhood joint when everyone packs their own cups back to the counters. Weighing everything I thought it was a solid 4-5 stars.
