I booked a 90 minute massage immediately followed by a facial that I can only describe as a religious experience (Olga was AMAZING and I recommend her highly). I have used Dr. Brandt DNA (Do Not Age) products for almost 3 years, and they suggested trying a few products from their all-natural organic Eminence skin care line. I was never a believer in products that advertised they could make you look years younger after just a few applications, particularly with ingredients that you might find a chemistry set (except maybe for my religious daily application of Retinol that my dermatologist prescribed). I can say this with reasonable certainty, Eminence products are the best I've ever used. My day cream has sunscreen mixed right in, and combined with the retinol, things are greatly improving on my desert-worn face. Check out A-Studio. An awesome spa day awaits you. I had read such wonderful reviews, and, believe me, based on the prior stylist from another salon who did my hair, I really needed Dawn. I walked in, verified my appointment with Dawn, and instead of getting her, I was passed over to another stylist. What?! Is this even professional? During the color job with the other stylist, I specifically asked if I was getting my hair cut (at least) from Dawn. I was told "yes," so I relaxed in my seat although all the time I was disappointed that another stylist, although very good, was still doing my hair. Then my heart dropped. When the stylist finished coloring and highlighting my hair, he proceeded to cut my hair. What??! It's not like I didn't speak up and got assured that Dawn would do my hair! In all my years of going to a salon (and an upscale one), and requesting only for the owner to do my hair, never was I once tossed over another stylist. Kudos to the stylist who did my hair...a lovely person. However, I went to Fiore di Luna, an expensive, high-end luxury place, to get my haircut from owner, Dawn! When the topic was diplomatically approached, I was told by Dawn. "Don't worry..you'll be very happy with this other stylist." May have been very true, but that wasn't the reason I took this trip to Fiore di Luna. Customers who go to Fiore, If you request the owner, make sure you get just that. I was deceived. Not a good feeling. Perhaps, when Dawn reads this, she will personally call me and make sure my next appointment will be with her and only with her to make up for this expensive but disappointing day. I originally booked an appointment and had to cancel once. They rescheduled me for Monday, but unfortunately, I couldn't leave home as early as planned because my babysitter had an unexpected issue and arrived late. I ended up being only 15 minutes late. When I arrived, they refused to see me and told me I would have to pay again because, according to them, they had already rescheduled my appointment twice and this was part of their policy. I find this absolutely ridiculous. I was only 15 minutes late because I could not leave my baby home alone, and I was already at their door. They showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding. They still charged me and refused to refund my money. This is exactly how businesses lose good clients. I could have spent significantly more money there in the future, but instead of using common sense and showing a little understanding, they chose to lose a customer over a 15-minute delay. I will never go back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their policies feel designed to take your money rather than provide good customer service. They now cancel 1 week before my wedding saying that I treated them badly. I was there with my mother and everyone involved had a great time at the trials. They refused to refund my trial money after canceling w a ridiculous reason leaving me stranded. The owner also refused to claim any responsibility for canceling in such short notice when they supposedly felt this way right after the trial.
