Okay, a few notes: It's oddly kind of not ada accessible, as if you come on the upper floor, the front door doesn't have a button to open the door, so if you have a lot of luggage, you have to grab the door, then grab your luggage and the entryway is a bit trouble to handle, but it's not the end of the world. There is parking right outside both entrances and an extra $18/night and very worth it. The front desk people were really nice and let us know our room would be on the same floor as a lot of other things, which at that point I said I hadn't really slept in a few days and needed quiet. The main floor has a beautiful sitting space, a bar with bands and also a dj on the weekends, like yall, it was gonna be a lot. We got moved two floors down to I believe room 202 or 220. The room was so beautiful and spacious for my sister and I,with two queen beds and a large bathroom. I was happy there was a large desk, as I had so much work to do. They had the basics, coffee and a Kreg kettle. The fridge was stocked with pricey drinks and above it had pricey snacks lol. A few things were def a turn off during my visit (and the staff was helpful in trying to resolve the first issue). Our room was noisy. Even though I asked for a quiet room, but one evening we heard constant noises from upstairs, which we found out was their fancy restaurant (never went because there were so many other options!). I mean it sounded like metal was being dragged across the floor, which was odd because the restaurant wasn't open. Like the it sounded like this for over the course of a few hours a few days. We had dinner on the rooftop the first evening and it was cute! We couldn't see anything, but there were a lot of people there and there is plenty of seating throughout. They had a cute menu and the food looked good, so we got fish sandwiches. I didn't finish my sandwich, took two bites and it tasted like it was fried with chicken. Yuck. I hate when fish is fried in the same oil, like people who eat fish might only eat fish yall. That was a wasted $17 for sure. Anyway, it was a cute spot and walking distance from a lot of artists studios, so I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants something a little different.

I was told that to have two beds (as advertised mind you), I would have had to contact them beforehand. Really? Do you have to contact a place that says there are two beds to make sure they have two beds? The breakfast was good and the koi pond was pretty but the guy was unreasonable and creepy. I do not recommend staying there. It is in a residential neighborhood so the area is weird and parking is limited. Stay away as they do not advertise as promised and have no desire to fix the problem.

Our 2 night stay at the Dry Ridge Inn made this one of our best vacations EVER. Everything was simply precious. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast both mornings was delicious, and, they were very accommodating to my vegetarian diet. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and enjoying a glass of the red wine provided for guests. Location was also very convenient. We walked to downtown Weaverville for dinner and drinks both nights and were just a short drive to enjoy some hiking and time in Asheville. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

They managed to keep the old school brick elegance, while throwing in a few modern amenities. The top observation deck presented a grand view of the city, mountains and surrounding properties. The in-room locally made goodies (craft beer, wine, snacks, coffee, ice cream) filled in between cravings, and it was nice to take a bevvy to the observation deck, or while strolling to the outside fire pit. The Nespresso machine and Aerolatté Milk Frother was a nice touch. And our favorite, the steam shower. What a nice luxury to have after a day of sightseeing, or simply to de-stress the body/mind. What we didn't like!! We booked the first floor suite A, which has an additional sitting room and kitchen appliances. Although we loved the space, the first floor was very noisy. The geo-thermal heating/cooling system actually vibrated the bed when it switched on (which was often), and the outside air condensers were loud. That, coupled with a very annoying white noise system above the bed, made for a very restless night of sleep. The speaker for the white noise was located above the bed, and while you could control the volume, you could not completely switch it off. The white noise sounded like forced air through a clogged air conditioner return, and not a soft ocean wave. And although the towel heater was a good idea, it was confusing to operate. Also, upon arrival, the room had an overbearing fragrance, and although it dissipated by the third day, it really distracted from a relaxing experience (especially coupled with the noise). The GM indicated they didn't use any cleaning fragrances, but all the guests I had enter the room commented on the odor. And finally, the property does not have any onsite manager (all issues are communicated thru text or calling), so any issues are not immediately addressed. For example, we couldn't light the fire pit since the fire starter was not working, and none of the guests had any matches or lighter. The in room safe was on the fritz (apparently low batteries), and the Bunn House directory suggested not to leave any valuables in the room, so I had to lug valuables around. Just be aware, all on-site satisfaction is remotely communicated, and may not be corrected immediately. However, the text response is very quick and prompt upon letting the GM know of any issues. Let me be clear. The Bunn House is a first rate property, unfortunately our visit was not as restful as we had hoped.

You're simply given entry codes in advance, and the last four digits of your mobile number are the key to your room. Once you're inside, I hope you will be as impressed as we were with the highly comfortable but highly distinguished way in which the hotel has been crafted. Exposed brick walls are complemented by Frette linens, a white noise dial, sauna shower, L'Occitane en Provence toiletries, and artisanal, local granola for your in-room breakfast. If you have a romantic getaway coming up, or simply want to splurge on yourself when visiting Asheville, look no further. Oh, and it's only a 5-minute Uber ride (or 20-minute walk) from the downtown restaurants & sights.

The gym was surprisingly well-equipped and very clean, and the pool area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. One of my favorite touches was checking in at the bar--it immediately set the fun, laid-back vibe that Moxy is known for. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and I loved the miscellaneous closet stocked with helpful items guests might need. The only two drawbacks, according to my travel companion, were the lack of a refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. Neither was a dealbreaker, but they would have made the stay even better. Other observations: our room is also kinda narrow. The setup, if two queen beds facing one another with a Tetris-style couch in between. There is very little counter space anywhere, unless you use the couch as a nightstand. A little odd to have a folding table (found hanging), but glad it existed. These fancy hangers kept falling off the holders. A typical hanger would have stayed put better (maybe). Also, there is no closet, so one has to hang clothes against a wall. So overall, for them, storage was an issue. If you are there only a couple of days, not a biggie, but for an extended stay, this setup would be very impractical. Overall, a fun, modern hotel with a great atmosphere, excellent amenities, and an unbeatable location. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I decided to take a babymoon to Asheville while she's pregnant. We wanted a relaxing…read moregetaway and decided to splurge a little on what we thought would be a nicer stay at the Moxy. Based on the reviews, we expected the amenities and overall experience to make it worth it. We have one day left of a five-day stay, and unfortunately, we've been disappointed almost the entire time. We weren't expecting luxury treatment. We were expecting the basics, and even those have been a struggle. First, you need to specifically request housekeeping even when staying multiple days. Fine. The problem is that even when you request it, there's a good chance it still won't happen. We requested housekeeping three different times on three different days. On the day we were assured our room would finally be serviced, we left around 8:30 AM and requested it again on our way out. We came back around 1:30 PM and nothing had been done. I went downstairs and spoke with a manager, who assured me he was contacting the head of housekeeping. We had planned to relax in our room after being out all morning, but ended up leaving again just so they could clean it. About an hour later, we came back to what I can only describe as a half-cleaned room with very little effort put into it. Our trash was left behind, dirty towels were still there, and even the dirt from sweeping was left sitting in the middle of the floor. Worse, housekeeping actually took away the extra pillow my pregnant wife had been using. I'm writing this at 2:30 AM because I can't sleep. I gave her my pillow, and there are apparently no extra pillows in any of the housekeeping closets. I've tried calling downstairs and the phone just rings nonstop. The towel situation has been just as frustrating. No towels at the pool, no towels in the supply closet, and now no towels in our room. These are basic hotel necessities. The parking pass system has also been a mess. It worked once and then stopped working. We spent about 15 minutes getting that fixed and now get to see if it actually works tomorrow. A few other things worth knowing: the rooms are pretty small, basically big enough to turn around in. The TV placement is awkward enough that you practically have to crank your neck to watch it from the bed. They also pump fragrance through the hallways, which in 2026 feels like a strange choice considering how many people are sensitive to artificial fragrances and the growing concerns around some fragrance chemicals and endocrine disruption. Any one of these things by itself wouldn't ruin a trip. Things happen. But when you're repeatedly asking for basic housekeeping, towels, pillows and assistance and still can't get them, it becomes a pattern. I've stayed at Marriott properties all over the world, and I'm genuinely shocked that this has been our experience. We specifically chose this hotel for a relaxing babymoon, and instead I'm awake at 2:30 in the morning writing a review because I gave my pregnant wife my pillow and can't get anyone at the front desk to answer the phone. This was our first stay at a Moxy, and unfortunately it will also be our last. Easily one of the worst guest experiences I've had at a Marriott property.

I should also mention that the house is very close to downtown and the Biltmore. Thank you for a great stay!

I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the free snacks--though I didn't receive the macarons mentioned in other reviews. That said, there were a few issues that affected my stay. There was an odd, bright light just outside the bedroom that made it difficult to sleep. Street noise is significantly louder than reviews suggest--you can hear everything from outside, which might be disruptive for light sleepers. While the interior felt very secure, the surrounding area felt a bit unsafe, especially with a noticeable presence of unhoused individuals nearby. The walk to the free parking was especially sketchy and would definitely benefit from better lighting. Additionally, more detailed information online about pet accommodations would be helpful for future guests. Overall, it's a phenomenal Airbnb in terms of design and amenities, but it doesn't quite meet the standard of a hotel in terms of comfort or external environment.

I was nervous that I couldn't hit anything but with the instruction, I did a decent job, even hitting the target twice in a row.
