Well, Geek Squad and Staples were way too expensive to even have someone take a look at it. So I went to this place. I've seen it passing by arrow highway before and the sign on the store by the way says Tech Stop. It's a downtown Upland next to the smog pros and across the street from the post office. For me this was very convenient. They only charge $45 to take a look at it and it would go toward the cost of the repair. The service was fast. I brought it in mid day and had it back the next morning at 10 AM fully repaired for only $80. I am disabled, so this was a huge help for me. The service was excellent and the tech appeared very knowledgeable as well as the owner. This place is not much to look at, but who cares? They did a fantastic job and I am very happy It turns out they also sell some computers and other things like TVs. They also fix TVs, cell phones, mobile devices and of course computers. They are definitely worth checking out!

The bar stools were wrought iron and had rusted, and the process provided left them perfectly smooth and evenly coated. The patio chairs also looked great but were made of some type of composite aluminum. All looked like new when done for a very reasonable price per chair. Mistakes sometimes do happen though, and one did. One dining chair fell from a significant height during the drying process and was broken into multiple pieces. I tried to find a replacement for it and, given the set is over 25 years old, I could not. I also tried to find someone who could repair it and many companies told me it wasn't possible; that this material could not be welded or fixed. Completely untrue! Thanks to the perseverance of the manager, Kathy, and customer service rep, Layne, the chair is now fixed and looks identical to the rest of the set. They were relentless in finding a solution to the problem and found someone who said it could be repaired. They followed up over the next few weeks to check in on his progress, assuring me that the repair person was trustworthy and would get it fixed. They were right and he did. Often it's how a company handles a mishap that tells us more about their integrity, and this certainly was the case here. They made it right, and were polite and professional throughout. And the final result is that my outdoor space is filled with decades-old chairs that look like new. PPI knows what they're doing on every level. I can't recommend them highly enough.

As a result, the sun and elements took its toll on the tables. I had an option to sand and paint the tables myself, order new ones, or have them powder coated. Although slightly more than buying new, I chose to have the tables refurbished, which included sandblasting and powder coating. This process would protect the tables much better and longer than standard paint. I selected Bright Shark Powder Coating to do the work. Upon arrival, the staff were professional and friendly. I selected a color from their huge selection of colors and waited about a week. I picked up the tables, and they looked fantastic. They actually looked brand new. As a result of this positive experience, I will seek out Bright Shark Powder Coating for future projects.

All 3 pieces, requesting the valve cover painted GREEN and the intake AND exhaust painted SILVER VEIN. They called me and quoted too much for my budget for all 3 pieces. So I said, "forget the other pieces, just paint the valve cover silver vein". (See attached text screenshot for proof). I wanted that "Silver Vein" man! It looked CLEANNN on the sample!! You could guess how surprised I was when I showed up a couple of weeks later to find the single valve cover painted green. My first reaction was a little upset. I was expecting a Silver Vein valve cover and I'm picking up a green valve cover. I was confused and upset at first. I then realized where their team made the mistake. They didn't realize that I wanted Silver Vein regardless of what I got painted; they didn't realize that by removing the intake and exhaust manifold shield, I wanted the valve cover changed to Silver Vein, they must have overlooked it over the text and call? I later settled with the Green valve cover. It didn't look as clean with the Silver Vein accents that I originally requested, but it looked alright on its own. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can see my review and acknowledge that I wasn't provided with the service that I requested. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can provide me with a credit towards a future service since my request was not met as requested. I currently have a Green valve cover that was supposed to be Silver Vein. Maybe I can have a credit in the future for something similar to be painted? Thank you AIC Powder Coating!

Jose NEVER called me to inform me of an actual price and when I finally called, after two weeks, to see what progress had been done he told me that the parts had been done for sometime and had rusted again and were being re-blasted and that the price was now $800.
