An absolute NIGHTMARE!! I was referred to IOS by my dentist's office for the extraction of a broken molar. I am 67 years old and was operated on by Kyle Baird, who was new to the practice and whose photo and bio were not listed on the website. I AWOKE during surgery and because I was not fully numb, I felt much of the procedure, including the stitches. Although I cried out in pain, Mr. Baird continued to work as if he didn't hear me. He did not speak to me or administer more medication, the assistants were silent. When he finished inserting a bone graft and stitching me up, the doctor left the room immediately and the assistants sat me up. I sobbed, asking for numbing medication. I was told that the doctor was already in surgery in the next room and I would have to wait. After twenty minutes of bawling like a baby, while the assistants stood by, helplessly, Mr. Baird returned, and injected Novocaine into the surgery site. This individual, who administered the medication himself, charged me for sedation. He did not apologize for my pain or for screwing up. The office did not call my prescription into my local pharmacy until after the lunch hour, which meant that I had zero pain relief until well after 3pm. I am horrified that this happened to me! The dressing fell out of the surgery site a few days later and I went to my regular dentist to check the wound. My dentist, his partners, and the endodontist who have been my dental practitioners for over 27 years, were shocked at this terrible story and have assured me that IOS has been removed from their referral list. read more

Dr. Gailey has good social skills but is unfortunately excessively greedy. My visit left me very disappointed. He briefly looked inside my mouth, touched my internal scar for maybe 20 seconds, spent about two minutes explaining that he couldn't help me, and then charged me $300 in cash. There were no X-rays, etc. What made things worse was that his office had already received my medical and dental insurance information. Yet, the staff got defensive and refused to file or submit the claim, saying they wouldn't handle the paperwork. I've experience working with another dental surgeon with a different specialty who is also not in my insurance network -- and that team goes above and beyond to help me and ensure every step of the process is covered. Sadly, that was not my experience here. I hope this review helps others make an informed choice. read more

I would not recommend this place - sorry not sorry. My husband is a Veteran and though the oral surgeon was exceptional his office staff was horrific to us. We needed help with the bill that we received even though it was an approved claim through the VA they simply WOULD NOT help us and kept sending us bills telling us they would not bill the VA directly - yet the VA said they needed the information directly from them - come on people - my husband served his country for TWENTY YEARS and you treated us like that. No thank you I wish I could give them ZERO stars. read more

Dr. Diamond has performed several procedures on my aging teeth. He has always been nice and attentive and his staff is great. They handled all insurance claims for me and I needed to pay for my portion up front which was expected. read more

I'm new to the area and found this clinic online. Despite the reviews I thought I would reach out. I've sent 3 emails online via their contact form, I've sent 2 message here on Yelp and I called the office 3 time with no way to leave a message. I don't know if they are out of business, no longer taking clients or what the issue would be but clearly I wouldn't trust them with my work or consultation as needed if customer service is this slow or poor before ever making an actual appointment. My suggestion to the office if you are closed remove your profile from Yelp if you are still open then you should have a dedicated person to your social media as well as front office staff that can answer customer inquiries be responsible and respectable amount of time. read more

My son went in for consult and things went so fast he was unable to call for financial consult, so paid out of pocket rather than using our FSA...now have to fix that. Did okay on the medical front, just a bit aggressive on the financial end of things. read more

I scheduled a nasopalatine duct cyst biopsy with Dr. Gailey this mid-summer, 2019. D.K. handled all my office work. From my initial consultation, to my surgical appointment and then the subsequent billing of my insurance - she handled it all. I didn't need to do any of the paperwork myself, and this includes insurance info that she forwarded out of her office to the pathology lab. Dr. Gailey was polite, professional and handled my surgical need promptly and competently. The same can be said for his surgical staff. During the surgery, I was given a general anesthetic and I "slept like a baby" through the operation. Dr. Gailey followed up with me on my recovery a few days later. It's now been 5+ weeks since my surgery as of the writing of this review, and my healing has gone well. Thank you, D.K. Thank you, Dr. Gailey. I think Spokane is fortunate to have both Inland Oral Surgery and Dr. Gailey as a choice for medical practitioners in this area. My teenage daughter just had all of her wisdom teeth pulled last week. We had an excellent experience. The front desk staff was very friendly. Dr. Gailey me with us and went over the x-rays. He was very kind and compassionate with my daughter who was extremely anxious about the procedure. The day of surgery went just as well. The extraction was perfect and she healed very well. They called to check on her the day of surgery and we had a follow up visit the next week. I would highly recommend this office. read more

I went here last year for a consult and expected my insurance to be billed for any charges if there were. My intially thoughts were that Dr. Gailey was nice. The proposed plan for me was far too expensive for me and it was something I might consider doing in the future. I recieved numerous calls from Inland Oral in the months after my consult all the messages left for me were asking if I wanted to pursue the proposed treatment. I never bothered to call back because I was dealing with a lot, my dad was in the hospital and things were looking bleak, he did end up passing away. I never got a bill from them or any other messages stating I owed them for the consult or that my insurance was not responding. If I did I would have made an effort to reach out right away but since they were just fluffy, nice messages "checking in" seeing if I wanted to get the surgery done. I didn't call back. Now almost a year later, I am trying to buy a house and suddenly get alerted from the credit bureau that a new collections is on my account and its for Inland Oral Surgery. I call and get a lady named Decay? First of all she is very rude, basically telling me that too bad too sad she has all the records of all the times I was contacted. I told her I was contacted but each time the only messages I was left was only asking me if I wanted to move forward with the proposed plan, I never not once got a message telling me that my insurance was not able to be billed or that I owed money! No bill was ever mailed to me nothing! Now almost a year later I can't even go and try to contact the insurance or fix it and now I am in collections and they are ruining my chances to buy a house! I have no issue paying the bill, however I didn't even know the bill existed, I wasn't even told at the time of the consult that if the insurance didn't cover it here is what the bill would be. Nothing! This puts a very sour taste in my mouth about this practice and certainly Decay can use some customer service training. All she could do was say, sorry you are surprised about this! WTF? When I am ready to get surgery done, I wil take the trip to Seattle and use someone else, this practice and the employees are not what I would consider a place who cares for the community, especially, If you can screw someone from the dream of home ownership for your measly consult fee. Come to find out from this Decay lady they have my address incorrect and my phone number in thier system twice once with the correct area code and once with a 509 area code which is not correct. I asked if I paid the bill since now it's too late for me to go back to insurance and try to get it covered if they could contact collections and remove it so I can not have my house buying dream ruined and simply she stated NO! That is pretty sad! Souds to me that it isn't really about the money for this company but ruining someone's dream. Like I mentioned above Dr Gailey was nice but that means nothing if your practice is run by people who don't reflect your same values! Go somewhere else! read more
