I ordered a new trailer for my ski boat. We got the boat on the trailer barely but it was no where near the correct fit. The NEW OWNER CODY and Pat both agreed with my concerns and with zero hassle researched and ordered a new trailer from a different vender. Our lake is now drained for the winter so they used their hoist and reloaded my boat on the new trailer, made adjustments and now its a proper fit. Last summer I needed parts for a 1959 Evinrude 3 HP outboard. Pat took true interest and spent time to find some old school parts for a minor sale. We bought our boat trailer and several parts from them. We have an old pontoon boat and wanted to get a trailer for it. They were one of the only places with a trailer in stock at the beginning of the summer. Everywhere had a back order and were selling quickly when they came in stock. We got a fair price and left that day with a trailer. We were also able to do most of the sale outside which was important with COVID-19. They are also a Yamaha dealer and can sell you the obscure part you need. My husband bought a part on Amazon that didn't work and Inland was the only place in the area with the correct part in stock. read more

I always come to this place for 8 years with my old boat Evinrude motor till I sold that boat and I got "new boat" with mercruiser 3.7L I will never come back this place ever again! Since The mechanical guy is being so RUDE to me, He say my boat motor is "piece of shit" , junk, shouldnt bought that boat and will costly money to work on that motor. I was like HUH, cuz I did research online and say nothing about "junk" motor, alot say its very strong motor. I decide to not come back after The mechanical guy so RUDE to me and my wife. Im very disappointed with them cuz my dad bought his bass boat from there in late 80's, then I come back for as annual repair on my old boat motor, They are losing good costumer. I like the owners, real family business of over 40 years and that's why I re-powered my boat with them. Unfortunately the mechanics are not only rude ,as other people have pointed out already, but they are also very lazy! They do not communicate to the customers and almost seem like they don't want to be bothered with real mechanical diagnostics and repair even when you tell them in advance about an obvious problem. They just want to do new boats and new motors and reject any real mechanical work on older boats. Run away and go somewhere else. read more

This place is a joke. I spent over $25k on a lift and docks and they never talked to me about assembly. As a home owner there is an expectation that I am buying an assemble product not boxes of parts. The day I paid for the product I was told they didn't charge me for assembly and they were too busy to do it for more than 4 weeks. I was then told it was not that hard to assemble and that the instructions were pretty straight forward. I had the parts delivered and found that I needed a longer set of legs for the dock than what was designed. I stopped by their store to get a longer set of legs in case I needed them and told them I would return which ever pair I didn't use. They wanted to charge me for the second pair of legs because they told me they didn't trust that I would return the unused pair. The set of legs costs $72.00. I spent $25K and they didn't trust that I would return a $72 item. I left without the legs and will do everything I can to deter anyone from doing business with them. I've been in the busienss world for over 30 years and work with global clients on multi million dollar projects and I've never treat my clients in this manner nor have I ever been treated this way. STAY AWAY! Far away! I was in the market for new boat and called Island Marine. Received a quote from here and another dealer, same boat +$17,000 more here. NO JOKE BOAT WAS $17,000 plus more. I let the OWNER know that we purchased elsewhere. OWNER SAYS "DO NOT BRING IT HERE FOR SERVICE." I say you are authorized dealer, you need to service. Owner says, "Fine I'll leave it out back and get to it last." With this kind of service, who would buy or service here.
