After landing, we were ready to eat and found this place near where we were staying. Our taxi…read moredriver also recommended this place, so I was excited to try it, especially since it's located right along the beach. We were celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary on this trip, so we went all out. We ordered aguachile negro, tuna carpaccio, pulpo, vuelve a la vida, suerito, huachinango, and a few cocktails. Salad, potato wedges, and tortillas also came with our meal. Everything was nicely presented and tasted great! All of the dishes were so flavorful. We ended up ordering more of our favorites for our first dinner stop. There was also a young lady playing some tunes, so it made the ambience a little more romantic. She doesn't work for the restaurant, so we just gave her a tip before she left. The only complaint I have is that mosquitos and flies were buzzing around once the sun was starting to set. Other than that, I had a wonderful time here.

Best restaurant in this part of town!! The food, the ambiance, the service and drinks all amazing!…read more Ambiance/service: the place is super trendy and cool. They have some awesome art inside along with their van out front. The area next to the ocean has bean bags that you can sit on and relax. The service staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to help. Food/drinks: the food was delicious! I absolutely love Oaxaca!... we ordered the shrimp which was out of this world good and the red snapper plate which was also absolutely delicious. The drinks were also great along with their wine I would definitely recommend this place if you are in this area, want a wonderful place to eat and be right next to the ocean.

I love crepes and visited with a group of friends after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. We were starving and in need of some relaxation. They serve primarily breakfast and lunch items, with several coffee options and a full bar. The restaurant features and indoor/outdoor space where several cats appeared to be very comfortable, napping on the furniture. There were several local dogs coming and going. I liked the modern decor, in earth tones with several plants and chill music. They had sort of an artsy vibe going on. Service was decent. Despite the language barrier, they could have been a bit friendlier, as they pretty much just took our order and walked away without any friendly hellos. Service did get slow towards the end as it became challenging to track down our check, though that seems to be pretty typical of the town in general. I ordered an iced coffee with milk, which was delicious with a deep, dark espresso. My friend ordered a latte, and commented that it was a bit too strong for her, however I think I would have enjoyed it. I also ordered the Chula crepe which contained ham, mushrooms, tomatoes and oregano. My husband was very happy to order the Tocino, which contained bacon and cheese, some of his favorite ingredients. The crepes were a perfect consistency and very filling. My husband ordered a mixed fruit juice, which was really the consistency of a fruit smoothie. It was tasty and refreshing. All in all, it is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon coffee or cocktail. You can hang around like we did and pet the dogs and cats that stop in for water and shade.

Fine dining at its best in this quaint surf town filled with other good restaurants and beach in abundance. I recommend the very tasty ceviche in "tigers milk" (not sure what the sauce actually is b it wow it's so good). And the beef heart if you're into it. I am. So good. On potato medallions. Crab cake was a bit like Shuba if you like Russian food. Apps are tasty and mains and plentiful, but and bold flavors. Will return if time allows! The servers were very attentive which is not typically this culture so should not be expected.

A lot of the reviews here mention long wait and I would have to agree. There is usually a bit of a wait. I came in with a party of 8 so we were told the wait would roughly be 35 minutes, but it came to only 20 minutes. We were seated and the decorations and inside were very fun. The vibes were great and the people were having a great time while the staff helped further lighten up the environment. I asked for recommendations and was told that all the house ceviches were delicious. I went with the Peruvian Ceviche which had tiger milk in it. It was my first time trying Peruvian ceviche and was not disappointed. The flavors were very well balanced and loved all the different textures in the plate. I also ordered a Michelada, which was quite tasty!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tiki bar on the beach in La Punta!…read more When I'm down in La Punta this is where I like to hang beachside. They have shaded lounges, tables & chairs beachside & some more nestled up near their little tiki bar. It's just a little shanty on the beach but it's cool as hell & has the most amazing outdoor shower with the coldest fresh water to cool yourself off with. I'm kinda addicted to the shower! LOLOLOLOL What's even better about this place is that the food is super fresh & very tasty YUM! The guac is so yummy & fresh & the shrimp tostadas are the BOMB! They come warm & a little bit spicy! LOVE!!! No one else around here makes them this way. My fave :)' What's BOMB about this place is they make the best Margaritas on the beach! Strong & with lots of lime! Yeah baby! They even make me a pitcher of Margaritas when I feel like sharing LOLOLOLOL Most of all, the service is out of this world fabulous. I love the owner & his staff. They are so kind & sweet & will bend over backward to make sure your well taken care of while your hanging tiki side with them. They let me charge my phone, play my music & have no problem if you feel moved to sing & dance a little crazy from time to time. LOLOLOLOL Y yo estoy aquí Borracho y loco Y mi corazón idiota Siempre brillará... Love you guys! See you soon! Ole! :)) Highly highly recommend.
