After a lot of tacos I was craving a steak (!) and Filomena was recommended to me. So glad! I went shortly after it opened and could care less about the " decor " - the food was wonderful and I ate leftovers for 3 days (!!) Never had better. The breads and divine eggplant dipping sauce - I ate it all! The service was perfect - I was the only one there for a bit - I would recommend this place without any reservation. So good! read more

Right on the Rinconada roundabout this little restaurant is small but mighty. The decor leaves something to be desired as it seems like it was all kind of haphazardly thrown together, but the food is delicious and the drinks are too. Some of the strongest and tastiest margaritas I've ever had actually. My husband and I split the paella - I'd never had paella before this but I'm glad I did because it was quite good. Full of chicken, octopus, clams, mussels, and some prawns. I felt a little more seasoning would've done the trick, but overall it was a great meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Good service, great for watching a soccer game. all tables with good proximity to the tv, as the space isn't huge. Every item we ordered was delicious: we got the sweetbreads with chapulines black butter sauce and mezcal mussels as entradas, and the lamb raviolis with mushroom sauce as an entree. Would recommend all! A couple items were a tad high on the salty side, but still absolutely worth coming. Nothing a nice cocktail can't remedy. read more

We have been staying in Puerto Escondido for 3 weeks now and this is hands down the best meal we have had yet! I had the quinoa hamburger which was great. Mysteak medallions which were so tender you didn't even need a fork it was so tender! Great service as well! read more

Incredibly delicious food. Argentinian fusion. Excellent & fast service, too. I had pollo relleno (chicken breast in mushroom sauce) one day, and bife de chorizo (sirloin steak) twice. Every single bite super delicious. You get bread & home made butter spread. I was skeptical about Argentinian steak in Mexico, but it was as good as I remember from Buenos Aires. Highly recommend. This is gourmet food, and not expensive. Steak is 270 pesos ($13), and there are excellent lunch specials. New restaurant, which is why it's not as busy as it deserves to be. read more
