I did my homework and Noushi's education, equipment and experience in this field is why I chose her. Pleased to report that the research paid off. I've seen Noushi about 7 times now over the course of 11 months to remove a medium-sized tattoo on my shoulder, mostly black ink with a little color. Like most I was a little frustrated early on to not see magical results after 1-3 treatments. However, over TIME, as she clearly articulated up front, my body began to flush the blasted ink particles and the fading was a bit faster after each treatment. She estimates about 1-2 treatments left for my tattoo to be essentially gone. So that's 8-9 treatments over the course of a year for a professional, safe and effective tattoo removal. For two weeks I suffered redness, swelling, bleeding, pus, and itching in both ears. I needed medical treatment and had to remove the earrings. When I asked for a refund (per my doctor's advice that the earrings caused the allergy), Rowan refused and instead offered a "free re-piercing" and jewelry cleaning, completely missing the point. I'm now out over $400, including their overpriced earrings (which are individually priced), their after-care spray, my doctor visit, and medication. Their so-called "saline" after-care isn't even true saline. It contains harsh chemicals that worsened my reaction. My doctor had to give me a proper solution. If you value your health, skip Rowan and see a trained piercer at a reputable tattoo shop. Someone who understands metals, piercing safety, and real after-care. Rowan is more about Instagram aesthetics than safe piercings.
