He really made every single hour during my 4 (or 5?) sessions fly by. The conversation was entertaining and fun. He was patient with me when i needed a few seconds to "regain myself" and always made sure I was comfortable. I left that experience with a beautiful piece of artwork that I am extremely proud of! He is also as incredible artist! Very talented! His shop minimum is $100 which wasn't an issue for us. His shop is clean and the tattoo areas were sterilized prior to my daughter sitting down. DO NOT work with Jewel. I paid in advance for 8 hours worth of tattooing. This was supposed to be 2…read more4 hour sessions. She ended up cancelling my appointments the day-of, 5 separate times. Each time i had taken off work or other obligations. Then she proceeded to charge me $50 to even reschedule the appointment once the shop opened. All in all, the 8 hours took almost THREE MONTHS, and she shorted me almost an hour of tattoo time. On top of that, i paid her $70 towards a $120 commission. 2 months later, i ask to see the progress and she had drawn maybe 1/8 of it. After my complaining her excuse was that she "lost the pen" she was using. I even offered to buy a new pen for her, only to be refused and see no progress for another month. I then asked for a refund since she had no intention of finishing it. She told me i either had to pay her the rest and that i would get it eventually, or else she would finish it on her own and use it as a custom design for the shop ( despite me having already payed for more than half of it.) Absolutely the worst interactions i've had with a human being in quite some time. If you want to get a tattoo from this shop, ask for Josh. he does great work.

I picked something very simple, a road sign from just outside the town I grew up in. I went into my session here not having too many expectations. I figured it would just be a quick hit and run tattoo which is always fun. When I got to the shop I explained what I wanted. Terry did an amazing job creating my tattoo! The amount of detail he put into designing it was incredible. I was expecting a green square with the word Fred in it and what he developed looked like a perfect road sign. I could go on and on and its clear I cant say enough good things about Terry and I think if you are considering using him for your next tattoo you should move on it as he is a great artist. NVS-Ink itself is a great shop! You wont walk in and find tacky walls of generic flash. The walls here are covered in art work, which I believe is also all for sale if you are interested. The nice reclining leather chair I sat in while my tattoo was done was very comfortable. I've been in some not so comfortable tattoo chairs before and its nice to know that they definitely seem to care about the customers comfort here. I cant stress how clean NVS is! It is probably the best smelling tattoo parlor I have ever been in!
