i know this is just a tattoo shop & it's rough and tough and not about customer service. butttttt this was GOING TO BE my first tattoo experience. i don't have any tattoos so i decided to go to Rickie's because it was local and i wanted to support locals & i also thought it would be a more intimate experience. as it is my first tattoo. i was completely wrong. when we showed up to the tattoo shop there was no clients there but ROB the tattoo artist was persistent that if it was not between his time frame of work hours he could not get my tattoo done. mind you all i wanted to as a J letter. it was very small. but he made it seem like it was an immense task and which turned my experienced and our friends to a down hill. i took the time to post this because i am huge on local businesses and supporting these local businesses but when these local businesses do not even care about their clients is where i do not think its okay. read more

I went to Rickies tattoo last Thursday, December 30th, 2021, my first time ever being there, & let's just say I was very disappointed.. i got an infection, which is normal for some tattoos sometimes, but this right here is ridiculous, my tattoo is losing color & everywhere he "shadowed" scabbed up the worst & lost color. like this is a very simple tattoo how can someone mess that up? He rushed through it, & it took less time to do mine than it did my mom's and we got the same exact tattoo. read more

I'll start out and say the staff were polite up to the point I went back for my money. With that said, I went in today to get a septum piercing done, and OH BOY is that placement horrible. That's not even in my septum, and it would have NEVER healed by itself. How do you even call yourself a piercer if you screw up that bad. Showing this picture to some of my family who are in the tattoo/piercing business, and some of my friends with septum's, there was a resounding "that is that WORST septum piercing I've ever seen!" It's not in the soft spot. Guy literally shoved that needle wherever it went, and called it done. So far back, no where near where it should be. I went back in not even 2 hours later to get my money back. To give the guy credit, he asked if I wanted him to move the placement, with the words "Wherever you want it." Not only was that a HUGE red flag, I wouldn't want this guy anywhere near my face with a needle again. I'd rather go to some random anyone who knows a lick of anything about what they're doing than this dude. But they refused to refund me. I gave the piercing back and everything. I feel robbed, this shop has no place goin around piercing ANYONE with work and attitude like that. Stick to tattooing, guy, you just lost took my $40, screwed up my nose, and showed me the door. I even tipped bud $7 to do it! Reader take my advice and go anywhere else than this con shop. Don't let them near your face. read more

If you don't know what you are selling or do not sell the products of your industry then you are in the wrong business. Too old school to be doing piercings. To many "we don't do's", or "we don't have's" with this place, go somewhere else. This shop needs to retire. read more

I went in today to get my belly button re pierced and it looks perfect. The service was quick and professional. Everyone in the shop was friendly and made it a great experience. The shop was clean which is the most important factor to me when choosing a place for tattoos and piercings. I will definitely be going back next time I'm ready for a new piercing or tattoo. read more
