He really made every single hour during my 4 (or 5?) sessions fly by. The conversation was entertaining and fun. He was patient with me when i needed a few seconds to "regain myself" and always made sure I was comfortable. I left that experience with a beautiful piece of artwork that I am extremely proud of! I've moved to Austin but I'm pretty sure I would still drive back for Chris to do any tattoo work.

Its a butterfly and it looks really really beautiful. So then I decided that I wanted a second tattoo and I wanted this one on my foot. I went into his shop me and a couple of friends and we sat down and we talked to him and we kind of Bounce some ideas off of him. Wasn't sure of what I really wanted at the time. After looking at his tattoo album I decided to get a rosary bead tattoo around my ankle with the cross hanging on my foot. I got there today and as usual he greets me with a smile. I had no idea what the design would look like look nut once he showed it to me today I was in love the tattoo is incredible. There is so much detail that he put into the Tattoo its unreal. He is so meticulous with his art and this is truly Art. You can see every little detail in the cross and the rosary beads. You can actually see Jesus on the cross. Amazing talent. Went to Ink'd Life, LLC in Moss Bluff & each of us paid $75/tattoo. Eventhough we thought the price was a bit expensive, we all just figured "you get what you pay for" & forked over the $225. Unfortunately we didn't get what we paid for. Within the first week, each of us began noticing ink fading in different areas of our pinkies, yet we tried to stay optimistic. Well here we are 3 weeks later and as you can see in the photo, those once faded areas have slowly faded away completely. Feeling hesitant about allowing them to do major touchup work on something we had just gotten done 3 WEEKS EARLIER, I spoke with owner & requested a refund to which he replied "I can only offer for you to allow me to redo it cause yeah we don't do refunds". Well sir...thanks but NO THANKS!!!

DO NOT work with Jewel. I paid in advance for 8 hours worth of tattooing. This was supposed to be 2…read more4 hour sessions. She ended up cancelling my appointments the day-of, 5 separate times. Each time i had taken off work or other obligations. Then she proceeded to charge me $50 to even reschedule the appointment once the shop opened. All in all, the 8 hours took almost THREE MONTHS, and she shorted me almost an hour of tattoo time. On top of that, i paid her $70 towards a $120 commission. 2 months later, i ask to see the progress and she had drawn maybe 1/8 of it. After my complaining her excuse was that she "lost the pen" she was using. I even offered to buy a new pen for her, only to be refused and see no progress for another month. I then asked for a refund since she had no intention of finishing it. She told me i either had to pay her the rest and that i would get it eventually, or else she would finish it on her own and use it as a custom design for the shop ( despite me having already payed for more than half of it.) Absolutely the worst interactions i've had with a human being in quite some time. If you want to get a tattoo from this shop, ask for Josh. he does great work.
