But because I travel there with my daughter, we make a day of it. We have been traveling to Alabama for our tattoos since 2017. The tattoo artists that are at Abro are personable and amazing! They are our extended family. Each artist has their own talent, and their own style. The array of technique and vision for each artist is unique and each piece of work is done with expertise. Came in last month for a bachelorette night. We all wanted a piercing of some sort. One of the…read moreladies called a day before to make sure they were expecting us. Everyone at the front was so nice. They wore masks and we were required to do so as well. We filled out paperwork, paid and selected our jewelry, a nose ring for me. They sent us outside and we could only go in individually. This part sucked a little because we had no support system during the piercing... but we understood and also appreciated the precautions that were being taken. Tava the piercier took good care of each of us. She took her time and answered questions that I had once I got in the back. I asked not to see the needle. She obliged and kept me informed and calm during the process. It was quick, gentle, with little pain. I was given aftercare documents and a date that I could come back for follow up if I needed to. Overall we got 2 nose, 2 belly button, and a tragus ring. Everyone was pleased. My sis had to stop back in the other day after her diamond fell off her post. They examined her and told her that it was still swollen and couldn't be changed yet. But they have her replacement jewelry and advised that she can come back in a couple months to let them change it.

He answered my questions and wanted to see what my fiance and I had in mind for a tattoo. I sent him the art we had chosen and he quickly found an open date on his calendar to see us both. Jay put the artwork together and did a really good job on it! It would seem that he is in high demand too as our appointment was a few months away. The day came for us to get our tatts and we were very excited! As we came inside it was very professional and clean. It smelled good and they had places for us to sit down and even look through each artists work samples if you choose to. There are specific directions on the wall as to signing a disclaimer about getting your tattoo. It's a liability waiver and various questions about allergies,etc. Once you've done that and checked in to your artist of choice they come and speak to you if you haven't already done the waiver they explain it to you. Jay was very friendly and considerate. He took my fiancé and I back to his work area and we met his wife, who was very friendly. I was very impressed at how clean everything was! Jay was very professional and explained everything to us. He went over the artwork with us and made sure everything was to our liking then got right to work. I was very impressed at how far the inking process has come! The process was quick and jays attention to detail is remarkable! In a very short time he was done with my tattoo and it was on to my fiancé. He quickly changed all of his equipment he used on me to brand new parts and he was ready for her. The process with her went so smoothly she almost fell asleep in his chair! Needless to say we were very pleased with the outcome and we we'll see Jay again in the future!
