Been going to see Anthony now for almost 2 years. This dude is legit. He is a phenomenal artist. He doesn't use stencils for his tattoos. Did you hear that??? No stencils. Which means when you walk out of his shop, you'll have a fresh tattoo that looks like no one else's. His prices are crazy ridiculously affordable. And he does just about any style or type, big or small. Before you go to a tattoo factory and pay a silly price or go to some ridiculously expensive place because you think their tattoos must be better, check out Ink Therapy. You can find him on Facebook and Instagram to see his work. Or stop in. Love his style, and his way of doing business. You won't be disappointed! read more

I left thinking I had paid in full, but when I called to finish, I was asked for more money. The original work took 3.5 hours, wasn't completed, and for what I paid, it was just awful. I had another artist fix it in under an hour. I reached out to resolve it, but no one responded. A truly disappointing experience." read more

I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo done by Mary Jane last night and she was incredible. Not only did she do a beautiful job on a memorial piece for my friend, she has a really soft hand and it was nearly painless. I 1000% recommend her and will continue going to her for all my tattoos from now on. Thank you again Mary Jane for a great experience!! If I could give ten stars I would!! read more

My Natalie is the best. I love her! She's always so good at what she does and kills it everytime. I have 2 larger pieces by her and some smaller ones. I can't go to anyone else. Couldn't recommend her more! read more

Went to AJ to do a custom piece. It turned out nice. Wanted to do some color enhancement and talk to her about another custom piece. She has difficulty keeping appointment times. I was to meet her one day at 1pm and because of past problems with her "writing down the time wrong", at 1230pm I texted her to say I was on my way. Sure enough she texted me back and said, "I thought it was at 430." It was NEVER at 430, I referred her to the text message string. She said, "Ok. I'll be there at 115." While I was driving there she came up with a lame excuse that the owner wasn't at the shop, she couldn't get in and would have to go find him. I was around the corner and said "Forget it". Cuz who knows how long it was gonna take her to "Go find the owner". Tried to set another appointment and now she's not responding to my texts. After I made a $50 deposit to hold the spot at 1:00, she blew off the appointment and now won't respond. I'll eat the $50. And I won't have her do any more work for me. The only reason I'm giving her two stars is because the piece she did turned out nice. read more

This place is super weird vibes.. interesting marketing strategies they employ. Just basic communication was incompetent and unprofessional. Couldn't imagine having someone who can't communicate with a sense of competency to tatoo something that is important to you and permanent. in Their defense I was booked short notice, however not by my design. by the artist. When I showed up I was treated with disrespect and was very turned off by the way situation was handled. It's like we never even talked and I walked in randomly. They said something like if you don't want to gives us $150 for a deposit then we can't help you. im sure they're great read more

Anthony is very professional and put me at ease, and the time flew by with great conversation. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would recommend him to everyone I know. read more

Many years in artist Gomez's chair ! I would recommend if it's your 1st time or if ya had 10 tattoos.. Stop in with Anthony if you can dream it , he can tattoo it !! read more

I am so unbelievably happy with my experience at Ink Therapy. Anthony is amazing. Super talented, super nice, super professional, and way super affordable. I covered up a horrid 17 year old tattoo mistake on my back. (Kids, don't ever let your friends use you as a guinea pig for them 'learning' how to tattoo). I waited many years to make sure the investment was something that was me, was worth it, and I would be proud to show the rest of my life. Anthony's work exceeded my expectations. He made the whole process great from start to finish. He was clean and organized. Beyond all that we chatted it up almost the whole time, he makes you feel comfortable. I can't wait to come back and get another piece. I won't go anywhere else and i Hope he never leaves Portland! read more

Anthony is a very gifted artist and has tremendous skill in his craft. The largest tattoo I have was done by Anthony and I will exclusively go to his shop now. Hes extremely easy to talk to and will put the most nervous of new customers at ease. Watching his shop grow has been a pleasure. I cant tell enough people to check out this shop. read more

What an amazing day. Not only did I leave with an badass tattoo my experience was awesome. Anthony is a good person. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable and he got just about as exciting about the tattoo as I was. I went to several shops and researched several artists before I went to ink therapy and I will tell you I was uncomfortable in most of the places I went. I will be telling everyone i know this is the place to go. Oh and he does an amazing job covering up old tattoos... So if you have that not so awesome- what was I thinking tattoo go see if he can help you! read more

Hands downs, the best experience someone could possibly have! The artist I had was miss AJ Dent. It was her first day in the shop, and my first tattoo. She made the hole experience had comfortable as it could be, and she has THE most amazing line work. I literally wouldn't recommend anyone else, and I know where I'm getting my next one, that's for sure. read more

Anthony does amazing freehand artistry at excellent prices. He has done two large Tattoos on myself and a few on my wife, including cover ups and fixing old tattoos. What a great atmosphere, prices, professionalism, and second to none tattoos. Thank You Anthony you are a true artist! read more

Anthony is an incredible artist and extremely personable. He really makes the experience enjoyablr, by not only doing great work, but by being friendly and conversing. A lot of artists I've gotten ink from have been really distant and just there for the money. Anthony really shows an interest in his clients, way beyond their business. He's not going to stencil some crap on you and bust it out real quick. He's gonna take his time and customize your piece. His pricing is extremely competitive and fair. Come get your ink done here. You will not regret it. read more

Anthony is a great artist. He can take your random ideas or slips of drawing and pics in my case and design something more wonderful then you imagined. Great to see you again! read more

I came into Ink Therapy for my first tattoo. I had no idea what to expect. Initially I had spoken to Aj, who's supper bubbly personality made for a great first impression. I had talked to her about getting a tattoo done that day. Although she was booked for the day, she immediately called up Anthony to see if he was available. Later on in the day, I returned to see Anthony for my tattoo. I came in and told him exactly what I wanted and he exceeded my expectations. His artwork is amazing! I love my tattoo! Especially for it being my first. Anthony himself, he's a super cool, chill guy! Extremely talented, as well! He was easy to talk to, and very patient, which helped calm my nerves. Overall, my whole experience there was great. If I lived in the area, I would definitely continue to see Anthony for my future tattoos. read more

My best friend & I have gotten a couple spontaneous tattoos together in the past when we were in college in Southern California but I recently moved back up to the Portland area and we were wanting another tattoo. We were looking up reviews and saw that Ink therapy had great reviews so we called and luckily AJ was there! She normally doesn't work Sundays but she was able to get us in. She is an incredible artist & even better person! She did such a great job helping us figure out the exact design we wanted and was able to draw it up quick. She took her time making sure it was perfect for us. When she thought it was done, she would add a little bit more to make it even better and that was amazing! Not many tattoo artists will put that extra effort in to really please the customer but she definitely did. She went above & beyond in all aspects. She made the experience wonderful and was an all around awesome woman. We will definitely be back for more!!! Gladly spreading her cards around to our friends! After going to her I wouldn't want anyone else putting art on my body. read more
